Elements of Petroleum Geology

This book covers everything I needed to know in my last year of undergraduate geology. It even covers the finer parts such as the heavier hydrocarbons and how they originate to become the way they are today. Could not be happier with this book.

A needed book for my son's education - thank you

It is a useful, well written and fairly complete introductory book to Petroleum Exploration but it is somewhat outdated; good anyway to have it on the shelf for a quick reference.

Great book. Easy as hell to read if you're RELATIVELY new to oil & gas.

I bought the Kindle version for use on the iPad and it is excellent. Can pop out illustrations for a closer look. Highly recommended!
