Powerful!!
I have so many words I can use to describe this story. But the one I choose above all is POWERFUL!. The characters are so realistic I cried. The plot was on point and most importantly I could relate and empathize with the characters based off of the trauma and need to heal they were experiencing. These two authors are phenomenal and I look forward to reading more of there stories.Great Job!!

Excellent read.
I loved this book. The characters were well developed. The conflict well thought out. Both of them had serious issues that they needed to work through. I loved how the writers implemented their research about both of the issues that they tackled. I also agree the ending felt rushed. It shouldn't have been as the conflict held the story together.

Heartbreaking yet stunning story
Beautiful Chaos by Riley Hart and Devon McCormack5 stars!!!“I’m me.”I was in need of a different read, my book funk was real, and a contemporary romance just wasn’t hitting the spot, and so I decided to read an M/M. Scouting Amazon for a read I came across this one and the blurb just called to me, and I’m so glad that I took that jump. This book was stunningly, heart-breakingly beautiful. These characters…I adored them, every beautiful, broken piece of them. These two will stay with me for a very long time.“We’ve both survived. Now it’s time to live.”Silas is an agoraphobic, his home his prison and the comings and goings of his neighbours a way of passing way too much time on his hands. Blighted by insomnia, Silas spent way too many hours being a voyeur, but more for the feeling of safety than being nosey and bored. Silas wasn’t always this way, after a traumatic event, the mental scars were everlasting even though the physical scars had healed.“We weren’t people or animals, but two souls colliding among the stars, the eruption shooting all our pain and hurt outside our reach.”Corey has just moved into the neighbourhood, a new start, because like Silas, he had been through the mill too. Corey has his own issues, ones that he is making strides in overcoming. But again, like Silas, the physical scars may remain, but it is the mental scars that leave their lasting mark that dictate the future he feels he deserves. On paper, these two should never have worked, their issues too great, too deep-rooted, too all-consuming and yet something draws these beautiful souls together, and it all starts in the most adorable meet-cutes.“The whole world was walking on shards, traipsing across the broken fragments of my life scattered all around me.”I was championing these two along from the beginning, I wanted them to overcome their issues even though I knew deep down it was a tall order. This book covers some extremely sensitive subjects, and the authors dealt with them with sensitivity and care and so much emotion. My heart was decimated for the situation that these two found themselves in and yet the authors expertly give the reader that constant glimmer of hope that these two broken men could and would be each other's balm.“You’re my home…the only one I’ve had in a long time.”This was a stunning slow burn, one that forged that character connection deep into your heart and soul as the authors slowly leak out their pasts and their own tragedies. Neither man looking for love, but more acceptance and finding it with the one person that could understand them the most. Neither man wanting to ask for help and yet finding it with notes, video chats, kisses and more. I loved everything about this book. My heart full by the end and my tear ducts alleviated of a little saline. I will definitely be reading more by these two authors.

This book has all the feels...
Beautiful Chaos by Riley Hart and Devon McCormack is a deeply emotional book with beautiful awakenings from two different issues: PTS and agoraphobia. The authors do a wonderful job of treating the subjects with respect and providing a lovely HEA as well. I highly recommend it.

Emotional
One if the best books to really show me the motivation for such illnesses. Beautiful love story and not rushed or too slow at all

Very dark, but very well written
The overall theme of this book wasn’t completely “my thing”, but it was still a good read, and it was clear that the authors really took their time to research & write the characters journeys in a respectful, realistic manner.I really appreciated the authors note at the beginning too, alerting the reader to the main potential triggers within the story.

Wowza
I am delighted. I really enjoyed Beautiful Choas. I didn't expect much from this Kindle recommendation but, since I had given myself permission to indulge in "thrashy" novels for the month of January , I thought why not. Hart & McCormack greatly exceeded my expectations. As in still awake at 1 a.m. during the work week reading this novel exceeded my expectations. A modern day tale that disabled people do indeed still have love lives. The sexual encounters that begin showing up from about mid novel work seamlessly to advance the plot, as they should, not as sensationalist fluff. This is a tale about the dynamic journey of two broken men who find pathways to Healing not through each other but because of the strength they derive from each other. The sex scenes are well done, romantic, and fairly graphic, but it's that those sex scenes actually remain secondary to Beautiful Chaos' story progression and action is the crux of the 4 star rating. Hart & McCormack's message that the validity of your personhood is untarnished by disability is a valuable reminder of a #PotentTruth.

beautiful
Such a beautiful book. The way that the authors describe both characters different traumas and coping mechanisms is completely realistic and heartbreaking at the same time, but it is done perfectly.Beautiful Chaos focuses on two characters with different traumas, who come together in a cute, slightly sad, and unlikely way. Both have mental health issues and offer each other help. The journey of self-help and realisation throughout this book is incredible and just BEAUTIFUL.

Intense But Beautiful
This...omg this was such a hard book to read....Silas and his demons and not being able to leave his home...Corey and his demons from his past relationship....These two broke my heart more than once...The way they slowly start to talk though with messages on their windows then video chats...They slowly work their way into each others lives....I think you'll cry like me when you find out what happened to Silas and the way it affected his life....They both believe they are broken but the way they both stand up to what's happening and try to change so they can be happy was beautiful...No magic cure but a long hard journey to get to a better place...These two authors sure work great together x

All the feels
The amazing Riley Hart and Devon McCormack have done it again. Silas and Corey will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. The horror of their histories, the physical and emotional impact on them and their attempts to manage that impact is mind boggling. When they come together and are able to be honest with each other, it seems as if they will stay together. But, that's not how life works; not a healthy life anyway. Reading this story I experienced the whole gamut of emotions; sorrow, anger, joy, despair, yet in the end our boys do get their HEA. And that will make you smile.

Wow!
This is an amazing story as someone who has & still is dealing with some of the subject matters I was a bit worried that I would be triggered.I read this & though it was hard for me in bits I thought it was very well written & I fell in love with Corey & Silas so easy & really cared about their issues. Well done guys x

Rounded Upto Three Stars
Unlike most other reviewers of this book, I cannot see what all the fuss is about. It's ok, but honestly, it was just a tad dull with neither Silas nor Corey evoking much sympathy, empathy or like.Having read a number of books this year with mental health as their theme, this one was not done as well and ultimately it became a chore to read - just wanted to get to the end. For books tackling the subject of MH, I'd not recommend this one.
