Use this for "medium" length stops or just locking my bike anywhere in public where I can't see it. It's small enough that it fits underneath the seat on my motorcycle (KTM) so I can take it anywhere.Doesn't require a key to lock just put it in place and press the button down and it arms. Set it off once on purpose and alarm is quite loud and very noticeable, would defenitely attract attention of the public, whether or not it's attention that'll save your bike getting stolen or damaged is another matter.Have yet to set it off accidently while unlocking it but have gotten pretty close a couple of times just be weary of that. The lock itself does feel quite study whether or not it would survive getting smacked with a hammer a couple times has yet to be soon, but hopefully I won't have to find that out for myself.Would recommend, especially for the price.

I bought this alarm/lock at the beginning of September 21 and it seemed to be just what I needed for my motorcycle.However, after about a month it went off one morning for no apparent reason.No one was near it. It wasn't excessively windy or anything.I removed it and inspected it. Checked the batteries.I couldn't find anything obviously wrong with it.But if you locked it and left it for about 5 minutes it would go off.A waste of money.

Didn't fit my vespa

I like it. I got this to combine with two really cheap disc locks (bright yellow/no alarm)/chain/alarm and immobilizer.Its been some rough weather recently but hasn't activated. As soon as I have touched the lock or touched the handle bars once its locked its given me the warning beep. I've moved to the rear of the bike, thought I'd left enough time for it to reset opened the rear pannier, as you imagine, nowhere near the disc its on, with very little bike movement, the alarm triggered. That was great as I had several people drinking on the balcony of an apartment watching me and you could hear them react when it went off.The struggle is getting to it to turn it off if activated as its obviously key deactivation so you have to unlock it to turn it off.I only bought one of these due to the way you have to disarm it with a key, but it does the job its intended to really well. Would recommend. Good price too. May buy you an extra minute or at least some attention if someone tries to steal your bike.Oh final point, unlike the cheap alternative I bought purely as an extra visual deterrent, this disc lock, the pin is small enough to fit through normal brake disc o holes. I found the cheaper alternatives have a larger locking pin and it restricts where you can actually lock them onto the disc.

Purchased as a deterrent and extra safeguards for our motor home, fits over an existing hole in the frame and stops the seat from being turned into the drive position. There is also a built in alarm that is activated if you try and remove with the key

Only had this for a few days and used it on two occasions so far, but it seems ok. A nice bit of metal, wish the pin was a little bit thicker but you get what you pay for, and it’s not been going off all the time with the wind ( and it’s been very windy this week) I have set it off on purpose to make sure it worked, and it does, it’s very easy to put on and take off ( and with out setting it off on each occasion) and that’s good as I put it on my bike very early in the morning. So at the moment all is good, only time will tell for the long activity of it. I would have waited a few months to give it a review but Amazon have been sending for one so that’s why 3 stars today. but who knows if that could go up or down I will post again my true judgement (if it’s still with me) it’s easy to use yes, value for money at the moment yes if it’s still working in a few months we will see, lock feature works at the moment I have given it a squirt of lubricant But Not wd40 as this can dry the lock out in side I used a different one.

Its good for the money but I had to get up in the early hours of the morning to turn it off because the alarm was being triggered by a small downpour of rain making it continously go off waking me up and probably some not so happy neighbours 🤦‍♂️
