Works Well for Me - Very Recommended
As I've gotten older, I've noticed that my ankles and feet will swell up. Not to the point of being a problem but becoming annoying. I bought the X-Large size. I wear a size 10.5 shoe (and a 32" inseam) and these sized socks fit nicely but maybe a little big. Not big enough to make me want to return them though. If I were to pull them up firmly, they'd come to about the middle of my knee cap. So I just don't pull them up that firmly. As far as helping with the swelling, my FEELING is that they're helpful and I'll continue to wear them.

A Nurses's Best Friend
These compression socks have been amazing for my partner and I as doctor and nurse. As a nurse, I spend most of my day running about the floor and standing in patient's rooms so naturally, I used to come home absolutely fatigued with feet that looked similar to the pitting edema feet of a heart failure patient. After using these socks, I feel less swelling and throbbing in my feet at the end of the day. I've tried some other brands of compression socks but never liked the itchy feeling they gave my legs. These socks are soft and I never feel any sort of itchy sensation. If you're wanting to prevent varicose veins from developing, these socks are it. I find the easiest way to apply them is to bunch them up, applying over toes first then pulling up. These socks make a great gift for anyone with any job requiring you to stand for many hours throughout the day. I definitely will be purchasing these again in the future.

They are longer than pictured…
Great socks with the perfect amount of support. I also love the selection of neutral colors since most socks like this have funky prints. I took one star off only because they are FAR longer than pictured. They come at least 2” above my knees…I was expecting them to be about 1” below the knee. I am not short (5’ 6.5”) and have normal length legs, so my hope is that I can shrink them a bit.

Perfect for my husband
My husband has deep veins in his leg due to an injury as a child. He has to wear compression socks every day and is very picky about which ones he wears. I have purchased many different styles and sizes from various stores. He does not like the socks with copper in them because he says they are too stiff. He really likes this brand so I will keep ordering them for him. He wears a size 10 1/2-11 shoe and we bought him these socks in size XL (thanks to other reviews that suggested that). A size XL is perfect. The compression is great for deep veins, but not so tight that you can't put these socks on easily. Also, I wash them in warm water and air dry them. I highly recommend!

Excellent Alternative to Jobst
I have been wearing compression socks for the past 9 years. All that time I've been buying Jobst brand, LG, 20-30 mmHG. The first pair I bought cost around $56. Nine years later, at a cost of $70/pair they've become way too expense for my budget, so I looked for an alternative. I found these and decided to give them a try. At their current cost ($16.95, plus S/H and dealer prep) for 3 pairs, I think they'll serve as a suitable substitute for my needs. Nothing against Jobst socks, but they're only good for 6 months or so, then the recommendation is to replace them. The only downside to this new choice is that they are a little too long and I ripped a small hole near the top of one of the socks while putting it on - they're a little less sturdy in that spot than the Jobst socks. However, I learned to put them on without tearing. The socks are comfortable and fit well. And the price is right. There were no cleaning instructions with them, so we'll see how they survive a wash. I'll probably clean them the same way I'd clean the Jobst.

Comfortable socks but not helpful to reduce the pain for your ankle
These socks seemed comfortable when I wore them to play indoor court, the material feels nice (thick and good padding). But they are not helpful to reduce the pain for the ankle. I felt the same whether wearing these socks or not. After I use a heel lift in the shoe, it is much better.

Pretty much as advertised
These are my first experience with compression socks and, so far, I am satisfied with the product. They are comfortable and seem to be holding up fine. I was concerned with how long they would keep their support capacity without stretching to the point where they would no longer be able to hold their compression strength. So far they are holding up well.
