Spider-Man: Kraven's Last Hunt

Excellent translation from comic to epic! Without a doubt, one of the most important Spider-man stories ever told. I am glad it was able to follow me into adulthood. Well done, sir.

An interesting and creative prose novel about some very popular characters from my childhood.

Okay I'm dumb. I purchase this on accident because I thought this was the graphic novel. It is not. This is the novel based on the graphic novel.... I'm going to have to return this and buy the actual graphic novel...

Just finished the prose novel. I read dozens of superhero novels a year, this is my first spiderman one, and I'm downright angry that I wasted my time with it. I just cannot fathom how this is so wildly acclaimed. Perhaps the Graphic novel is different, though i find that hard to believe. Since when is the jumbled, random thoughts of multiple super villains plagued by dissociative identity disorder intriguing? Kraven's purpose was understandable, but his plan and execution were assanine There was no redemption for Spider-Man. No catharsis. And frankly he was just a foolish, hotheaded moron that learned nothing from Kravens attack. I don't write negative reviews. I hardly even say anything negative ever. But this wasn't Spider-Man. This wasn't worth reading.

I put this on my wishlist for Christmas thinking It was the graphic novel. Didn't look very close when I copied and pasted the website address. But after reading the book version I almost preferred it to the graphic novel. It gives the story a lot more depth now that the writes aren't confined to a thought bubble. I might have to try some of the other books "accidentally".

Great book and an amazing story everyone who is a Spiderman fan should read this

Pretty dope story. I've read the original comic, seen the animated version, and now this v erosion.I liked how they really made the important parts dramatic with the sound effects.Definitely recommend if you're a Spider-Man or just a Marvel fan.

It's the most confusing poorly written book I've ever read. Don't bother with this one

Pointless. The graphic novel by Peter David is a classic, this is a waste of paper. Why? Who decided that a great graphic novel needed to be turned into a novel
