Knowing this roborock was in transit to me, I put off cleaning hoping I could leave the job for this bot. So my apartment was particularly challenging for its first run. Setup was easy and no problem. I left it to charge, and went out for a cycle. I got back to find my apartment nicely cleaned. All dirt was picked up, what a pleasure!Navigation is really cleaver, the bot clearly works with a strategy, and the app shows the path it took. It did not get stuck. It had no problem transitioning between rooms, carpet and tiles, and avoided all obstacles. Build quality is good too. Is it worth it, yes.

My own little R2D2. Cleans the floor whilst I do other things - like have a cup of coffee! Finds his way around all on his own. Easy to operate and washes the floor as well.Seller also highly recommended, patient and understanding when I made an error with pamyent

Utterly wonderful! Amazing, fantastic and every other hyperbole you can think of. This is the 21st century version of a dishwasher. I love it, it's an absolute best buy, saves me so much time, gives me a toy to play with, vacuums the house. So pleased we decided to buy it. If you buy it you will not regret it. Still smiling.

Great piece of hardware but the smart home integration is so poor it gives me no confidence in the hoover.The alexa has two separate skills for some unbeknown reason. Neither offer anything more than on/off function and no routine integration. Which on a £500 device isn't acceptable.All this 'it knows what room its in' stuff is great. But want to say "alexa, clean the kitchen floor" then look elsewhere as its unsupported, which makes no sense as they've already done 99% of the hard work.Easily fixed software issues these and im just bewildered at the company's choice to exclude them.Such a shame.

This was our first robot hoover and it's clearly a game changer - house design and furniture design will accommodate these little friends way in future. Having had ours for many months now and want to maintain having no dust or debris under our feet i've searched for authentic spares - and not found any easy solution for the uk. There is an abundance of replacement parts available with mixed to sketchy reviews - and wanting originals - I've had to order direct from China. Without this it would be a 5* review.

Initial setup was easy, apart from if you have WiFi that covers 2G and 5G on the same SSID - I got it to connect by temporarily turning off the 5G on my WiFi router, but that might be too difficult for some to achieve.My first robo vacuum was an iRobot Roomba nearly 3 years ago and I was initially happy with it, but in a new house with a large extension, it would take 2 hours to clean 30m2 in its random way of moving.The Roborock S6 is so much better in terms of features. Map works fine for me and the no go areas you can set are great - was especially useful when we had a Christmas tree.The different power levels are surprisingly useful. It only takes 30 minutes to clean our 30m2 extension and it does it very efficiently as it maps out the path to take.It's very good at navigating around things and 'bumps' much more gently than the iRobot, so things like chairs don't get moved.As you can see from the photo, it docks quite nicely under the sideboard, so doesn't take up an open space.It's been in use for 2 months so I can't comment on longevity, but so far, I'm very happy with it. I paid £360 which I think is good value but wouldn't pay full price (not because it's a bad product, but I'd prefer to buy on offer).Things I haven't tried yet: mop function; moving it to a different room/floor to create multiple maps.
