Marbles Magnifying Tweezers

This is a great tweezers for when you have a tiny piece of wood or metal in your hand. You know there is a splinter somewhere because you can feel it. Just barely. Brush against something just the right way and ouch, there it is. But, when you look for it you can't see what it is.This fine point tweezers with the magnifying glass helps locate the pesty, abrasive, aggravating, annoying, bothersome, carking, chafing, disturbing, exasperating, frustrating, galling, irksome, irritating, maddening, nettlesome, nettling, peeving, pestiferous, pestilent, pestilential, plaguey, rankling, rebarbative, riling, vexatious, vexing piece that is so smal but drives you crazy every time it zings you and dig it out.love this tiny tool. These are by far the most useful tweezers, especially for wood & metal splinters. Grips every time. This is my second pair, first pair works as good as new after 10+ yrs. You can dig into the buried ones too, no more needles or razor blades. Also works on those rogue hairs that need to be plucked. I have used them for micro assembly of electronics too.

I wanted it for tiny splinter removal. While the tweezers can be filed to obtain better shaped tips, the lens produces substantial distortion over the field of view. However, it is usable for an object right at the center.

Previous order of these about one year ago was worthy of four stars however this order very disappointing in that the magnifying lens on both tweezers was so distorted and fuzzy that I had to remove the lenses and replace with lenses of previous purchase. I also ordered Miracle point brand in same order and although more expensive they come in a protective little case and deserve a five star rating.

the magnifier is good

I bought one - and then several additional ones to have them convenient to where I'm working. Didn't need magnifier when I was young - but it sure is useful now. Easy to position the magnifier to focus on the splinter, and the chisel tip on the tweezers will allow you to dig out even a stubborn splinter. Really, you need one...

I was able to put it on the top shelf inside my medicine cabinet along with other first aid items.The next time I get a small splinter in my hand I will be able to actually see it with the magnifying glass, and then pull it out with the tweezers.

This is a pretty amazing little tool. I like that the magnifier is adjustable (my previous one did not adjust).
