This is a beautiful flower box and the 36" box we purchased is a generous size for a lavish display of flowers. For those intending to install into 2x4s the hardware supplied will work with the wood screws provided. If you're installing into brick or cement you'll appreciate having the provided long plastic sleeves. In our case we had to purchase bolts, washers and lock nuts to install through a 5/8" plywood backing board. We were glad to do that for our more unusual installation.As for more difficulty to install, my only complaint is this: the center of the frame into which the box fits requires the middle brace to be placed OFF-center, and it's very noticeably off-center when the flower box is installed into the frame because the brace extends forward of the box. We initially thought we could skip the center brace entirely but the weight of the box when filled was enough to flex the two outer supports. Other than this we're very satisfied and hoping that the overflow of flowers will conceal it.

I just have to say, these are THE MOST attractive window boxes I've EVER laid eyes on! I have been looking for a nice window box for a couple of years....litterally. I just couldn't seem to find one I liked enough to drill holes thru my siding for. But THESE boxes are GORGEOUS!!! I can't even begin to tell you how much I LOVE them and can't wait to get them up!!! They are quality, nice weight & not flimsy. The copper has a 'rainbow-oil slick' patina and I know it will only get better over time! Honestly, this is the best purchase I have made in a LONG time!!! Only con I can think of, is it would be awesome if they had a video clip on mounting. There are videos of item descriptions, but not instructions for mounting. There is a paper included explaining how, but I found it to be a bit confusing. (But, it could just be me! lol )

These boxes are classy, extremely well conceived and made. Adds old world charm. Sets apart from all the rest. We have two installed on the inside of a patio wall. Filled with flowers, these are stunning.

I had to call the manufacturer for clarification on install instructions, and they basically sent me the chart that came with the box, so not very helpful.Lots of room for many plants and such a pretty window box which will last for many years.

I love this window box! It allows water to flow behind the box without damaging the house and its beautiful! This box adds a lot of personality to my house!

Very nice! Sturdy and easy to hang.. They are not real copper though.
