She is a wise young woman, discerning others’ intent. She deals well with her students and the determined Sir Jason though she finds him intriguing. As always with Holt’s stories, there is a mystery. Whatever happened to Edward, the man to whom she was drawn like no other?If you like Victoria Holt, you’ll enjoy this one.

I began reading Victoria Holt's books as a teenager. My Mother loved her books as well. We were constantly going to the library. This one is fantastic and has it all...romance, mystery and wonderful characters. I am 65 now and retired and can enjoy them all again. And as I do, I am once again with my Mother who taught me the grand joy of reading!! If you have never read Ms. Holts books...I can say you will love them and she wrote under other names as well...check it all out and enjoy!!!

I have been rereading these books that I have already read many years ago and I am so thrilled by the writing and suspense in the story that I can not put it down. Did enjoy this read very much!

The Time of the Hunter's Moon is a classic gothic romance. Victoria Holt was the best at this Genre. This book is a full of suspense and mystery up until the end. The characters are wonderfully flawed and you feel like you are actually part of the story. It is refreshing to read Clasics like The Time of the Hunters Moon.

I now remember why I was a fan of Ms. Holt’s books as a teenager. My mother introduced me to her books because there wasn’t any graphic sex included. I still enjoy suspense romance novels on Kindle or Nook.

I read Victoria Holt many years ago when I was very young. She has some wonderful stories. This particular story was okay but the plot took a nose dive at the end in order to get to the happy ever after ending. I though it was rather abrupt. Other stories by Victoria Holt are more interesting although it was fun to re-experience this quaint story.

I love reading a Victoria Holt. Her books are always enjoyable. Mystery and romance aplenty. This was an easy read.

Victoria Holt is an excellent storyteller. It is well researched and the mystery is cleverly unfolded. The heroine is resourceful and has a sense of humour. Her love interest is by no means a paragon but again not without humour in his pursuit of her. I particularly like the other female characters as well - her lovely, warm hearted aunt and the strict but fair principal of the girl's school she works for. Holt is my not so guilty pleasure. At her best, she can give that other superb storyteller, Mary Stewart, a run for her money.

Great read as all by this Author are. I would recommend very captivating. I have read many of Victoria's books.

Victoria Holt knows how to keep you guessing. Her books are old fashioned but all have a hint of sex without the gory datails. Love 'em.
