Canned cod liver Foie Gras of the Sea is a premium natural product of high quality that does not contain preservatives and flavor additives, rich in various nutrients and natural micro elements. Made only from carefully hand-picked fresh cod liver no later than 48 hours after fish harvesting in the purest water surrounding Iceland. Due to its own unique qualities, the product has a long shelf life without adding preservatives. Salt is the only additive to the canned cod liver. Whole livers and pieces in every can. Maybe 10% of the cans aren’t filled with liver and have lots of oil in them. I save the oil to use on other foods. The first can I opened, I ate every drop because it was so tasty. I wouldn’t recommend that! I only eat 1/2 can now. The can does not have a “wild caught” or “farmed” label. Review: Great taste!!! - It smells nice, not strong like sardines or tuna and the liver has a great creamy texture. I lot better than capsules to get the great nutrition! Very versatile since you can mix it with other foods (veggies, eggs, meats, etc.) and not a dominating flavor. You can also use the oil separately as well and drizzle it on a salad for example - makes a great dressing! Enjoy

Simply love it
Cod liver is one of my favorites, especially in the simple but delicious salad my wife prepares. With cod liver, hard‑boiled eggs, green onions, a touch of mayo, lemon juice, and seasoning, it always turns out amazing.

Packaging for shipping needs improvement
The quality of the product is fine, the packaging allowed one can to end up damaged & leak cod liver oil all over everything. They all had to be washed, but thankfully cod liver is not super fishy smelling. Could have been worse.

Get other brand
Well I have bought quite a few of these and been satisfied with them over the past year. I have recently got some that many of the cans aren't even full of meat (70 - 80 %). My advice is to get another brand that will give you what it says on the package. I Won't be buying again!! NO STARS WHATSOEVER!!

Good source of fatty acids!
great source of fatty acids! Good price! In a can, wont go bad! The taste is a bit different! But if you like sardines, it will be fine! Think of the health benefits!
