WWIII Team Yankee: British Army Book (WW3-02)

The Team Yankee British sourcebook is an indispensable resource for Team Yankee players and a nice book for those interested in WWIII in general. It provides background information (troop dispositions and objectives) for the Team Yankee universe and nutshell descriptions and game stats for all of the currently available Team Yankee British miniatures.The book begins with 8 pages of background information describing the Team Yankee strategic situation from the Army Group level to the Brigade level. The next 35 pages provide historical information and game stats for all of the currently available British unit types. The technical data is interwoven with cool historical fiction stories and an in-depth fictional account of a major WWIII British action (this later is an expansion of the initial background information). There follows a 2-page spread about the British Army during the 1990 Gulf War. 8 pages provide 3 separate, but potentially linked, scenarios focusing on the British action described in the technical section. There is nominally a 4th scenario too, but it is simply the first 3 scenarios combined into a single massive game. 4 pages then describe painting techniques for British models (this is nice, but it is an identical copy of the information found in the Colours of War book). Finally, there are 8 pages of what are essentially advertisements—illustrations and descriptions of the available Team Yankee British models.
