If you are small -- this is cute for style, not as practical for compression.
My review is for the size small. I fall within the weight range but a few measurements did seem a little larger for me on the size chart. This is likely why it feels like the compression on this isn't as tight and supportive as what I was hoping for. It does feel like a nice thick material and fits well, but I was hoping for more tight support and compression. Near my hands the material flares out and offers no wrist compression at all. The size chart says it supports sizes 95-125 lbs (4'10-5'5ft tall) which I do fit into, but the other sizes -- US size 4-6 dress, 26-28" waist, etc are larger than my average sizes. Since the size chart isn't totally wrong, I'm giving this 5 stars, but if you are petite like me and are seeking a very tight compression garment for your upper arms, I'd continue searching for one that maybe comes in even smaller sizes. This feels just like a long sleeve bolero, not much else. If you like ballet core style though and want a shrug for yoga, this is pretty cute. I'm keeping it because the material feels great, and I like this style anyways.

Perfect as post-op compression garment
This is exactly what I needed as a post-op compression garment for my upper arms. I find it to be soft, well-fitting, and completely invisible under clothes (especially the nude color). It is a medium weight and would probably be hot in the middle of summer but is perfect for my timing (September) and the material feels good and cool against my skin - as opposed to some of the materials that are rough and tend to trap heat. It is a little long in the arms but I'm 5'3" so I'm very used to that - and the stretchy material allows you to pull it up a little further to reduce the length. If it were summer I would have probably cut the last 4 or so inches off of the sleeve but since I'll be mostly wearing it under office attire and long sleeves, it hasn't been a problem at all.For me it is very comfortable but if you have any incisions in the underarm area, that's exactly where it sits so it will probably be really uncomfortable unless you put some padding under your arms. It also has somewhat prominent seams that may bother some people but they are soft and so far not a problem for me. However, if they start to bug me, it can easily be worn inside out so the seams don't have contact with incisions or bruised skin. For me, it is snug without being tight (I ordered L/ XL bc I have large arms for my size) - which is super important because the really tight stuff can cut off circulation and make the healing process so much more painful than it has to be. There are many similar items on the market and they all have pros and cons... but I'm super sensitive to itchy material (which is a problem with many of them) so, for me, this was a no brainer. I highly recommend.

Sturdy and dense material whcih does the trick.
I got Large/ It fits, but yes it is tight at 5'5" at 155lbs. Iif you are bigger than me, size UP. Its a solid material, opaque and tightly woven, so its not 'breezy' or airy and CAN get very warm..Since the back part stretches from arm to arm, the area at the bottom wraps up around the armpit area may rub uncomfortably. Many reviewers cut the material under the arm, but Ii cut it in the center of my back (an inch at top and bottom) because I have shoulder problems and needed to relieve the resistance. It relieves the pull but still keeps it taut to hold the sleeves all the way up the arm. I'm going to look for another one that's a lighter material, like nylon, so can wear one in the summer. This one is good for winter months, tho.

Looks great
I really love the material and the fit of my Arm Slimmer. It fits perfect around the arms. The problem is the cut of the material. It is way too tight under the armpits. I actually cut mine, to be able to wear it without it hurting my armpits. It fits perfect and a bigger size would be too loose. The item is sewn incorrectly under the arms. Overall, I love the item but I had to cut it to wear it comfortably.

FEAR NOT
After reading through the reviews for this product prior to purchasing, I was quite dreadful I'd be stuffed up in the thing like a Bratwurst sausage if I'd dared to order anything under a Large. I was even going with the XL initially for fear of arm amputation or worse with all the talk of ill-sizing, seams, and sacrificial blood circulation. And it sounded like the battle would still not be won if I did get in it since I would probably need to hail Mary and a couple of the angels to get out of it.However, I took a leap of faith & changed the XL to L at the last minute and am so glad I did. -(*Whew!* is the sound of me dodging the bullet of Big Arms Meet Saggy Shaper)-Moving right along...The fit is perfect, the fabric's ultra comfy, and I don't look like I've escaped from anyone's Funny Farm which is a good thing because I'm not much into straight jacket fashion myself..You can do absolutely anything with your arms that you could do before. The movement is not restrictive. The only thing you can NOT do with these shaper sleeves is turn into the model in the picture. Nor should you want to.I will even venture to say that the Medium wouldn't have been too shabby to have ordered. -SHOCKER!!!- I had already resigned myself to total traumatization and failure if I had even LOOKED at the 'M' & told myself that it would be my own fault. But I'm happy to report that I'm perfectly fine and have no missing or mutilated body parts. I normally wear a M-L (because I'm kinda breasty *not a word*). I ordered the Large and have lived to tell the tale. So order in peace, Dear People. Order in peace. One more thing..I'm not discrediting those of you who have had adverse experiences. It's possible that the seller was receiving defective items from a bad supplier at a time unbeknownst to them and has since kicked said supplier to the curb and now has an honest one who knows the difference between a Medium & an XL. All I know is that AT THIS PRESENT MOMENT, and FROM THIS PRESENT SELLER -> (AsWeChange) the sizing is refreshingly pretty accurate, the quality is superb, and no "Hail Mary's" were needed in the operation of this garment (simply pull from the bottom of the sleeve one arm at a time)!Happy Arm Slimming!

For me this works. I'm of an age where my upper arms are starting to lose their muscular structure and are becoming flabby, also as I fractured my shoulder bone some years ago, which is prone to arthritic pain, this helps with support.

Very good ítem. You dont sweat with it on however you feel your upper arms tightly. You also wear it all they long and can choose the size !!! so there is not excuse saying it canes too small or big. I like it.
