Let me start by saying I LOVE these (I've used the ones from Walmart at $2 each, but they stopped carrying them so I had to find them on Amazon at $5 each, but I love them so much it was worth the price increase). They are amazing at applying topcoat to my painted furniture smoothly and without streaks, brush marks, etc. That being said, I ordered five of these and the "pad" on two of them were marred or indented. I've attached photos. I have no idea if that will affect how smoothly my topcoat goes on or not (I hope not). Also, and this is random, but they smelled funny - strongly funny. My husband got so tired of smelling them every time he walked by them on the table that he put them in a bag and put them in the garage. It won't affect their performance, but was odd. I'm very disappointed these are or have been discontinued by the company. The only reason they didn't get a 5 was because of how the two out of the five arrived.

This works well, just keep loading paint in the same direction from the paint tray, wipe excess paint off in the same direction every time, and you can slid this thing right along the ceiling or trim, mess free. I love that it doesn’t leave a “brush stroke” look.
