It Works GREAT in my Infiniti G37x Coupe with Bose/Nav!!
Works great in my 2009 Infiniti G37X Coupe with Bose/Nav system. I have been looking for and experimenting with many bluetooth connections in an effort to get my Android phone (LG V20) to truly work handsfree for my music playback. None of the solutions, until now, have allowed me to use the steering wheel controls to control my music. It works with both my LG V20 and iPhone 4. Pairing was easy, and it will repair with the most recently connected device whenever I start the car up and launch my default music player (Amazon Prime Unlimited). The steering wheel controls work with both my phones but the song tags only work with the iPhone. The tags for Android show up as 123/Prev. Not a biggie for me as I was primarily looking for a way to control playback without having to touch the phone. If I want to switch phones, I turn off the bluetooth on one of the devices and repair with the other and it then takes over as the default. I will probably stick with my Android device as my primary device as I only use the iPhone now as a music player.Sound quality is excellent - much better than other BT devices that I have tried in the past and on par with connecting via cable thru the aux inputs. There does not seem to be any audio interference from the motor and other equipment. My phone still connects independently to the cars hands free phone without any issues and the music pauses during calls. For the 2009 G37, you WILL need to buy the separate power adapter as the Infiniti iPod cable DOES NOT supply power. So far, I am very pleased!David

Infiniti Owners...BUY THIS. Such an amazing device that works! Read my review...
One of the most exciting purchases I have ever made and let me tell you, it was absolutely worth it. I wish I found this device much sooner. Not only have I dreamt of having a Bluetooth audio media connection between my phone and my Infiniti but I am so sick and tired of using a 3.5mm auxiliary cable...and I have had to cycle through many of those cables since they deteriorate over time. This is literally the ultimate solution for your Infiniti G35 sedan. I have a 2008 Infiniti G35x Sedan with just the premium package installed. It has a Bluetooth connection but it is exclusive for placing and receiving phone calls. I am going to tell you step by step as to how you will be able to install this properly if you have a car like mine. This is a product you want to buy if your car is devoid of a Bluetooth audio media connection; a connection that links to your phone or multimedia device with Bluetooth (iPad, Android phone, whatever). If you want to wirelessly stream your Spotify, Apple Music, or even your entire audio device output via a Bluetooth signal to your car AND display the track title, artist and album meta tag data on your car's head unit AND use your steering wheel controls to manipulate playback...this is the product that you need to purchase. I can't say 100% if this will work for your car but I can 100% say that it will work for a 2008 Infiniti G35 Sedan like mine. I will talk about how you can install it if you have a car like mine. Before purchasing this, make sure you have:The iPod connector from Infiniti (Make sure you have an OEM one) that secures inside your armrest compartment's iPod connectorA Micro USB cable (Micro..not mini)CableJive dockStubz+ 30-pin Charge Converter https://www.amazon.com/CableJive-dockStubz-Converter-Functionality-Accessories/dp/B003TJR2HSUSB Car chargerMake sure you have all of these items. You need the converter from CableJive because the iPod connector from the armrest will not be able to supply a sufficient amount of power to the CarPro product that you will be purchasing. You plug in the iPod connector from Infiniti into the armrest compartment's iPod input port, then the end of that cable goes into the CableJive converter...then you plugin a USB car charger into the car lighter and connect a Micro USB cable into it and the other end of the cable goes into the CableJive's MicroUSB port on the side...and then finally the CarPro gets plugged in through the CableJive converter. Tuck all of this away into your armrest compartment and go to your car's head unit and hit the "Disc" button until your iPod connection is initialized. While it is initializing, go on your Settings for your phone and go to the Bluetooth screen to add a device, you will see Headset or CarPro and the PIN you enter is 0000. Once it is paired with your CarPro, you're golden. If your phone is already paired to your Infiniti's car phone Bluetooth, your phone will intelligently and simultaneously establish a connection between both your car's Bluetooth and your new CarPro Bluetooth module. When a call comes through and you pick it up, music is automatically paused for the duration of the phone call and then the car will pick up the song where it left off as soon as the call has ended. I'm telling you that this product is a miracle.

Worked in a BMW and a Lexus
We have successfully used this CoolStream CarPro adapter in a 2007 BMW and a 2008 Lexus. It sounds way better than any bluetooth-to-radio adapter. For us, it's well worth the money to get the best possible sound from our phones into these older cars that don't have an AUX input. This adapter can be quirky sometimes, but if you're willing to put up with that (and I question whether or not the alternative products for bluetooth-to-ipod connection would be any better, because this kind of adapter is a hack, not something that was originally intended).Tips on getting the adapter to work:In the BMW, we needed to switch to the CD input to connect to the adapter. And we had to eject all the CDs in order to access the adapter interface. Once there were no CDs inserted, the adapter showed up on the CD info screen. (We had to call CoolStream for guidance on this, and they were helpful.)In the Lexus, the adapter shows up under SAT radio. (It's funny to see how the random high-digit track numbers that appear on the Lexus display, like 5432, 12345). We've done road trips in the Lexus and the adapter has worked steadily the whole trip. Very occasionally we would have adapter trouble.Adapter troubleshooting:When the adapter stopped working, these are steps that worked for us: turn off bluetooth in phone for 10 seconds, turn it back on, pair to CarPro again, if that doesn't fix it, try rebooting your phone, last solution, turn the car off, wait at least 10 seconds and turn car on again.FYI: If you try and pause the music on your phone, you will probably find as we did, that the music will resume playing again after a few seconds. It can be comical but annoying how the music doesn't want to stop. For some reason, the iPod interface in the car doesn't like pause. The solution? Turn off your radio. That will always stop it :)
