Planter box
Easy to assemble. Like the plastic liner to protect the wood. One of the panels was cracked/split about 16” …. I just repaired it myself with glue & clamps.

Awful endurance.
It pains me to write this because we loved the look of these. We bought 2 rectangular and 1 square in 2021 and loved them through the summer. They were difficult to assemble, and we had to saw a piece off to make one side fit. The wood is fine, cheap, but the problem is the way the pre-assembled parts are put together. They use cheap and short pin-like nails to secure the ledges that hold the bottom of the planter up so that they inevitably pull away after a short time. We have the bottom of one propped up on bricks right now.We had to replace one of the rectangular planters this year and it didn’t last the season. We literally assemble, place, fill with dirt and flowers, and don’t touch them apart from watering. Even never being moved around, they still fell apart.Don’t waste your money. Unless you can find a way to reinforce the bottom, you’ll be disappointed. We tried a few things but the wood is so cheap regular nails and screws destroyed it when we tried to replace them.

At least it’s actually wood
I wasn’t expecting actual wood. Amazon loves to say “recycled wood” and then send particle boards with warped screw holes and disrupted printed patterns. The pieces that were shipped were nice. However, the construction of this unit is a bear. Nothing lines up, and you have to force and strip everything into place. I have no faith in the bottom piece that is supposed to support all your dirt and substrate. I’ve lined the bottom of my planters with bricks just in case, because the bottom piece barely slid in and stayed in place. It has a nice appearance and seems that it will do its job, but don’t expect miracles.

Sorry I bought
I watched the video of putting together this planter before buying this product. It was not easy because the wood panels did not fit easily into the brackets and one of the metal brackets broke. There is no need to drill a hole as there are spaces between the boards. We will not be returning it as my husband was able to get it together and it will probably last the summer. The salvaged wood looks okay but has damage making it not fit. The "ribs" in the panel were not all nailed in.

You get what you pay for.
So in the end, after having to take apart one of the side pieces because it was too wide to fit in the brackets, it looks nice. I hope it lasts, the bottom piece falls apart very easily, it is just put together with tiny little nails, almost like staples. (So are the rest of the pieces). I had to add my own nails to keep it together as well as I said in the beginning, I had to pry off one of the pieces of wood on the side and nail it closer to the others to make it fit together. All in all, with the extra steps I had to take to put it together, it was what I was imagining for that space.

Great Product and Great Deal!
I own 4 of these and I always wait for them to go on sale. If you catch it at the right time you can buy them for around $35 which is a bargain. They are easy to build, but once you fill them with soil be careful when you move them because the legs can bend easily. I wouldn't pay full price for this, but I will buy again when I see them on sale.
