With 6500+ reviews and an average of approximately 4.5 stars, it would seem to be a quality scale. However, the scale that I received, while beautiful, was totally unreliable. I promptly returned it.

Q: Is this product really as good as advertised?

I haven’t gauged for accuracy, although mine seems consistent for over a year’s use, and basically match up to provided measurements on store-bought produce. The thing that really bothered me was the fact that it gets scratched VERY easily, with using soft plastic bowls on top to measure with, and gently sliding it back into its place between my Vitamix and the wall. I got it in dark gray over a year ago, so I don’t know if they’ve made any improvements in this aspect due to complaints since then, or if all the colors are equally as scratch-prone.

Q: LCD display looks unbelievably readable on the picture. Does the picture accurately show the real display, or a printed label applied to the display?

I found the display quite easy to read...this is not a printed label in my opinion

Does this scale register negative weights? For instance if I tare it with my flour canister on the scale, then scoop out 1 cup, will it read -121g?

Very low resolution

I regularly weigh out 9 grams of yeast. It copes very poorly with low weights like that. And I find I don't trust it at all.
