I can't believe I waited this long to get this
We have a senior dachshund who has a cervical disc problem and requires pretty constant pain medications and muscle relaxers. He will NOT open his mouth to take pills, clamps his jaw tighter than a vice grip. We've tried everything, manually prying his mouth open, which is so traumatic for him and us. He still spits the pills out. The vet said try placing the pills in a number of things, liverwurst, you name it - nothing doing. She said try Cheese Whiz and he LOVES that, but he will spit the pills out as soon as he detects them. So with this little gadget, I insert the pill at the tip, dip it in cheese whiz, he opens his mouth and I slide it to the back of his throat, shoot it in and boom! This is so easy and trauma free for all of us. He doesn't even really know what happens, he just wants more cheese whiz. Nasty stuff! At any rate, this is a little miracle gadget. If you've tried everything but this to administer pills in your pet, get it. You won't be disappointed.

So-so quality, but gets the job done.
I’ve used this for over a week now. This product makes it possible to give my cat the pills she needs. It takes a small #5 capsule. I tried medicating her without a pet piller and it was next to impossible. It’s not the best quality, and it doesn’t come apart for cleaning, but I run water through it, soaping the end, and let it air dry with the plunger pulled out. It’s printed on the syringe that it’s “Single use only” which is obviously not how I’m using it, but it works and gets the job done.

A lifesaver
Current sitch: Cat requiring multiple pills a day. Once you get the hang of this thing it makes pilling so much easier. Water first, then insert pill. It’s not perfect, but better than being outwitted by a strong Maine Coon who now knows to curl his tongue to block the back of his mouth.

Make sure to secure the silicone part
Before I even used this I pulled off the bottom silicone part that the pill goes into and coated the syringe part with safe glue to make sure it won't come off and stays secure in place. Once it was solid and it wouldn't budge no matter how hard I was pulling on it, then I used this. Don't want it coming off while in use and having it jam into your cat's throat. It does indeed make pill time much easier. Don't forget to read the instructions that you fill the syringe with water first. Otherwise it won't shoot out as it doesn't use air pressure.

Must have if you need to medicate a cat!
The silicone tip will hold smaller pills and the plunger makes it easy to pop the pill into your pet's mouth. I can't believe it's taken me so long to find this! Worth every penny!

Junk.
90% of the time the pill slid to the side of the plunger (which was stiff and awkward to use). The cat also managed to bite off the plastic end, as I was having such difficulty getting the pill down her throat. A waste of money.

An Excellent Way to Give Your Pet Medication
This product is a miracle item if your dog won’t take pills. We struggled for years. This pet piller gets the job done in under a couple of seconds. Soft tip is perfect size for our small dog and would probably be even easier to use on a dog with a larger mouth. I’m sorry I didn’t find this item sooner.

Garbage
Don’t waste your money. This thing is garbage. Doesn’t work at all.
