Bought four (4) Type S Car Battery Jump Starter Kits with 8000 mAh portable power bank, two for my sweethearts biz trucks and two for gifts. Its "a must have" for numerous reasons. Our Dodge Ram hemi can sit for 3-6 months without use so often it doesn't start. Borrowed neighbors Type S to start the truck and POOF started right up. This is small, easy to set up and use and works really well. I bought two for different locations with trucks, one for me and one for my sister. Not a glamorous gift though a super one if you ever need it. The Type S Car Battery Jump Starter Kit has worked really well for us for jump starting. It also has a light and ports for charging. The light lit up my entire living room during a power outage. It can be used for camping, power outages, phone and computer charging even and, (on an uplifting note) powering Halloween pumpkin lights with USB capabilities (See photos).NOTE: Few weeks ago we saved someone with a dead battery at the grocery store. They were amazed at the size and performance. Started their car right up. My sweetheart said he needed his super hero cape :)

This was a great investment of something small, holds a charge for many months if not used and easily connects to jump start a vehicle. Most that I have helped with it have bought one for themselves. Highly recommend

Ok, this may sound weird, but I have a small amp that runs off 8 size C batteries (total: 12 volts). Ordinarily it lasts about 10 hours and then I toss the batteries. I've replaced the battery compartment with one of these jump-start packs. So now I have a rechargeable 12-volt power pack that lasts many times what the C-cells provided.You could use this for any 12-volt device that doesn't require a huge amount of amps. Just check the amperage of the device against the amperage of this power pack.One warning: I left a similar pack f a different brand hooked up to a USB charger for a month and the packexpanded and died. Not sure if that would happen with this model, but I suspect it would.

I got for added insurance and hope I don't have to use it.I've had one for my wifes car and decided to upgrade my old unit.Nice unit and easy to follow instructions.Timely delivery.

In my opinion, every household should have one of these. Small, comes in a case, does the job without hesitation. My only slight complaint is I wish the alligator clips were just a little longer, even 6-8 inches would be beneficial. If you are jumping a standard car battery you are fine, but in my hybrid vehicle the posts to clamp on to were wider than that of the battery posts, but I still managed. My posts were probably 8 inches apart and I still managed ok, but wouldn't mind just a little more slack. Otherwise this is a homerun in my opinion.

I give his for gifts to young and old. It has been a lifesaver for me multiple times. Easy to use, dependable and safer to han cables.

The model received is not as pictured and described. The unit did not come with the 12V USB car charger nor the storage case. In lieu of a storage case, it came with a cheap pouch.

This is the best investment I’ve made. Super sleek design, can charge car and have enough juice still charge a lot more. Can charge my phone and has a flash light. Even the locksmith was pretty amazed by it and wanted to know where I got it.
