Rampage 2018

A month later and it still hasn't reached the USPS. I wish there was a way to find out where it is shipping from before you purchase the product. Amazon has updated the estimated date twice. Contacted seller & they sent me tracking info for the USPS, and it hasn't even been accepted by the USPS yet. It's now past time I needed it for a gift. Another issue...after I purchase it and was trying to find out where it was I saw a big notice " Playback Region B/2 :This will not play on most Blu-ray players sold in North America, Central America, South America, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. Learn more about Blu-ray region specifications here" THIS WAS NOT THERE WHEN I PURCHASED IT!!!!!! Now...sit & wait who knows how many more weeks/months to get the product, then try to return it, if I can even return it. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Please note the ST-MEDIA GROUP is not providing the slip cover to this release as shown. The picture needs to be corrected. What was sent does not show 3d disc Blu-Ray disc and Digital CopyAmazon sent me two copies and neither of them had slip covers as shown in Amazon posting.I will be returning the two copies if nothing can be resolved.I'm still waiting to hear from ST-Media Group regarding the issue and if slip cover be provided as pictured.I will revise my review if a positive outcome comes about.Revised, ST Media group does not have the slip cover for this release. Collectors beware!

Tried playing both the 2D and 3D discs in two different bluray 3D players and neither will play. The players dod not recognize these discs.

What can you say about Dwayne Johnson?He has so much fun making movies.And fun is what this is all about.Yes the plot is almost non existent.But with the Rock at the helm,good jokes and CGI coming at you in 3D.its alot of fun.

I want to give 0 stars, but it won’t let me! So disappointed!! I bought this movie to watch with my family on Thanksgiving, but it wouldn’t play because I needed a region code. ??? I am so irritated with the company and will never order from them again.

Movie came today but I can't watch it. It says error with region code. What is this? Never had this problem before. Very disappointed.

Also bought on DVD for a teen relative to play on her portable-playerWell, this in truth is around 100 minutes of mindless fun, very much a tongue-in-cheek monster/disaster movie which tells of three creatures being infected by a gene-manipulation drug which survives a space-pod explosion upon earth's re-entry causing three capsules containing the substance to fall to Earth.The creatures, a crocodile a gray wolf and George an albino gorilla who had been saved when very young by Primatologist Dave Okoye played by Dwayne Johnson...........the two having had a special relationship being able to communicate by sign-language.The drug causes all three to grow larger and larger very quickly also making them increasingly aggressive.The three will join forces to wreak havoc on the city of Chicago which the authorities struggle to evacuate in time.Only if Dave joined by Dr Kate Caldwell a genetic engineer played by Naomi Harris who had played a part in the development of the drug reach the office before the three creatures and obtain a anti-serum Kate knows has been developed to hopefully calm aggressive elements of the drug the three had been exposed to.Can Dave appeal to George's friendship to advert complete destruction of the city or is it just too late ?A fun-ride based on game (as many are) with some good special-effects to enjoy along the way....a film to maybe catch on the movie-channel.Footnote - Seems to me Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is in an awful lot of action movies these days....just hope they arn't gonna re-make a film about the D-Day landings starring Dwayne, they'd have him storming the beaches single-handed lol

I sunk many many hours into the original video game where the monsters were mutated people. Here they are just mutated monsters (though the only mutation the gorilla undergoes is growth) but they still go on the rampage. And what a glorious rampage it is in 3D. This is what my 3D TV was made for. The depth is fantastic and there's even a bit of pop-out. The film itself is pretty silly, with The Rock's character proving more indestructible than an actual rock, but I enjoyed it immensely. It helps that it doesn't take itself too seriously. As long as they keep making these movies in 3D, I will keep buying them.

This film fills in the gap as we wait for the next godzilla film. Although last year I did see a excellent japanese godzilla film and the theater was packed. So there is a market for japanese films at least godzilla ones in the U.S. This is about huge but not superhuge monsters driven to attack by mad scientists. Yeah it's straight out of the 50's storyline wise but who cares? I love those old movies and this has todays effects and even better it's a 3d movie. Why people with two eyes do not watch a 3d movie in 3d is beyond me. Anyways, this blu ray delivers the goods on action and dwayne johnston is as effective as ever as the lead man here. The rest of the cast is good too , with a female being the main baddie which is a twist. Get this is you love big monster movies. I saw at the theaters and rewatched on blu ray. Followed by 'the black scorpion' blu ray a vintage 1958 stop motion giant scorpion movie from warner brothers. ah what a night for big monsters it was.

Arrived in swift time. To be upfront I had my reservations about this movie as I wasn't expecting much. As it's noted that the rock plays a lot of these disaster,adventure films,maybe suits his style. Tongue in cheek type of film,some edgy stuff,story not entirely well made,mentally riveting and challenging,fine and amusing in parts along as they don't got over the top. Amazing special effects.

Get over the fact that you have to accept The Rock as a Primatologist who has to save the world from a lot of creatures who have been genetically mutated for corporate greed including his pet silverback gorilla and you have one hell of a good popcorn movie.The Rock is as watchable as ever and does what he does best.Kick ass.Naomie Watts plays a great sidekick.Splendid CGI and action sequences.What could there be not to love.Some very good extras including deleted scenes.Well worth a coupleof hours of your life.A movie most people will watch again.
