Rainbow Sandals Women's Double Layer Premier Leather Sandals w/Arch Support

Decided it was time to upgrade my 12 year old rainbows (left in photo). I got the double arch this time instead of the single and I love it. These shoes stand the test of time, I’ll always be a rainbow fan. I’m a true size 8 and the large fits perfect

Hope this review will help those of you who are considering ordering your first Rainbow sandals. I owned one pair of Rainbow sandals, the Eastcape wide suede straps in size 7 which is 1cm over my heels. I would order size 6 if I were to order the Eastcape sandals again. Also, the Eastcape wide straps are a bit wider than the wide straps leather sandals. I normally wear size 6 to 6 1/2. I wanted to get the women's leather double layer wide straps and read as much of the reviews on Amazon as I possibly can to determine the correct size for me and even went onto the Rainbowsandals.com website to see their sizecharts guide.I decided to order size small( 5.5 - 6.5) in the double layer sandals and the fit is just right for me. The length of the sandals is 9.5" long, just like the guide chart on the Rainbowsandals.com website. I did measure other sandals that I own and they measured 10" long. The double layer leather sandals are indeed much more narrower than the Eastcape sandals that I own which can be problematic for those with wide feet. Keep that in mind when deciding which types of Rainbow sandals is more suited for you.By the way, the double layer sandals will take some getting use to since my previous one was single layer. It does add about an inch to my height.For the men sandals, I ordered my husband 2 pairs of the double layer wide leather sandals and even measured the sandals that he owns just to make sure I ordered the right size for him. He wears size (8.5 - 9) in sandals and measures 11" long. Decided to order him size Medium (8.5 - 9.5) which in length is 10 3/4" long, exactly what Rainbowsandals.com said it would be. The fit is tight and will need to be broken in but he thinks once he wears them, they will stretch and contour his feet. There's about half an inch of space in front of his toes but fits his heels perfectly. He tends to like his sandals a bit looser and not so snug but because he has narrow feet, they fit fine. Those of you guys that do not like to have any additional height, I would suggest ordering the single layer sandals. It's all about preference.I was able to email the seller to make changes and they were prompt in getting back to me and were very helpful and courteous. The sandals came earlier than expected, which is always a plus!

I have been wearing this flipflop for over 20 years. They are so comfortable and have a decent support on the arch. Mainly this is what I wear all day long in my house and never even think about sore feet. I have tile in my kitchen and these give enough support I don't have any problems with my back. I am 77 years old and highly recommend these. One thing to note - there are 2 different styles and recommend buying this one with a little deeper sole. They only cost a few dollars more and are well worth it.

These flip flops are great. They have a ton of arch support and are durable. However, you have to break them in. If you read the reviews on rainbow footwear, everyone says give them two weeks to decide and they are right. It would be nice if the company let you know this in their description. I shouldn’t have to go to the reviews to know that their product takes time to feel like it should.

These rainbows are the 5th pair I've bought as replacements. These are the only flip-flops my daughter wears, she loves them & wears them out.

From what I hear from friends who have owned Rainbow sandals, it can take some time to stretch these out. I wear a 7.5, so naturally I ordered The ‘6.5-7.5’ fit. I even Went to a surf store that sells Rainbows to compare the size I bought To a 7.5-8.5. Those were too long and stuck out in the back.They are in fact supposed to fit right from my understanding and do stretch quite a bit.So I’m hoping they will eventually fit just right.

The best flop on the planet. I am in SC and wear throughout the year as long as weather permits. The most recent pair I bought replaced a 5 year old pair I still wear, but wanted to have a newer look. Worth every penny.

Now that summer is here, it's sandal and beach time. I've worn these a few times and the soles are a little slippery dry, but think they will break in with more wear. Now that I've gotten them a little wet at the lake, the leather dye has bled onto the tops and bottoms of my feet staining them. At first i thought it was just dirt when it was the Bottoms, now it's the tops as well. So i cleaned them and my feet and wet them in a clean area, they bleed. My feet look disgusting.Maybe the lighter color sandle won't do this. The arch support is nice, and the width and size are good too.They imo are not worth 60 bucks when they stain your feet, and no amount of soap and water will get it off.Does anyone know if i could return them and get a replacement of the lighter colors?
