What an absolute piece of garbage.1. The display was attached upside-down so that the buttons do not coordinate with the functions2. NOT INSTANT AT ALL. Tried metering chicken and it took so long to meter vs my leave-in thermometer that the temp actually went down in the process.*****Seller refunded the price and let me keep the unit, which was great because it fell completely apart a few days later*****Would recommend seller, would not recommend product.

When comparing to an existing thermometer, the Mymason thermometer maintained accurate temperature during frying. Only draw back is there is nothing to clip it to the pan so I had to hold it with a hot pad.

Temp is accurate. It's a bit slow to get you to the temp reading.

Worked for a few months then the button to turn it off wouldn't work. It stayed on another minute then died completely. New battery doesn't fix it, so I guess that's that. Disappointed to have it break after so few uses, definitely won't be buying this brand again.

Readings take a 5-10 seconds.
