Awesome upgrade to the Karl!
Great cover for upgrading/replacing on the Karl 3-seat sofa!Fabric has a nice stiffness to it, and the varigated thread scheme is nice. Love the blue color, it really pops!Assembly was easier then the default Ikea branded covers actually as the seams are much easier to get straight (they are more "invisible" in camparison to the OG). Disassebled and reassembled with an extra set of hands in an hour and 1/2 but we took our time, labeling the legs, vaccuming the frame, and reading instructions in reverse, then normally.Assmebly note: The cover has velcro in all the areas you need it. Our Karl did not have matching velcro in 2 spots (front/bottom) on the frame for whatever reason. It would have assembled exactally like the Ikea cover does, but I used a staplegun to attach 1-2" velcro strips to the frame in these spots to ensure it looked as neet as possible. Your Karl may not be like ours was, but I thought I would share our fix.

Brand new couch
We have two set of ikea couch, going strong for almost 14 years. Since ikea discontinued selling extra covers, I looked into Amazon. I’ve requested fabric samples from a well known cover maker but ended up getting these for the price. They are sturdy, snug fitting like the original, and the fabric is close to the original also. The couch looks brand new again and saved us from spending more!

Fit
This did not fit. It is good quality and I like the color (it is as represented) but I wouldn’t order from this vendor again. I use blankets to cover up the gaps. I’m lucky that we have another couch in the living room.

Not a perfect fit, cheaper than a new sofa
Fabric seems durable and the cushion covers fit great. The covers for the armrests and base/back .. not so much. I got a "repackaged" version for about $115. Not sure it's even worth that. Decent value for me since it helps me avoid buying a new sofa for a while longer. I definitely wouldn't pay $180 for this... The blue kind of looks like jean material. It's a little scratchy texture but doesn't seem to bother the kids.

Looks just like the original Karlstad cover
I was really happy to see that this fabric is very similar to the original Karlstad that I bought in 2013. It’s got a great tweed-like texture which also means it’s not as soft as plain cotton. The tan color does have streaks of grey and is not as true tan in the stock photos. But it’s still a really nice color. The zippers and Velcro are all good quality. Stitching looks good too. I also included a photo of the tools that I used to take apart the sofa which you have to do to get the cover on. To get the best fit you have to remove the legs too. Karlstad covers were always tight to put on and this one is just the same. Takes patience and better with 2 people to really pull the fabric in the right place. Also don’t firmly attach the Velcro until you have the cover positioned right. Just lightly press in to hold it in place while you adjust. I was able to get most of the pieces into the right fit but on one arm I could not get it as shown in photos. Not sure if that’s me or the fabric is too short. I’m pretty sure I would buy this in another color.

Great Fit
I purchased the orange cover for the Ikea 3 seater. We have had the brown chaise+3 seater+chaise for about 12-13 years and we wanted to give our family room an update. Structurally the framework was sound. We wanted to separate the chaises from the couch: so, we started looking for covers (gotta love the concept of Ikea to allow this to happen). We found 2 Ikea chaise covers on Ebay in blue and wanted the couch to be orange...much more vibrant than the brown we had been dealing with for so long. The quality and texture of this orange cover is very close to Ikea. I was apprehensive in ordering because I wasn't sure how the fit would be either. It fits perfectly! The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the color orange. I thought it was going to be orange but it is more like a red orange. The color has grown on me and it looks great with the blue and now that they are separate pieces, it looks like we just spent a lot of money on a whole new set but didn't. Overall: great quality, excellent fit, and great value!

Nice cover, almost perfect fit. Have a staple gun handy!
This couch cover is great! It needs a tiny bit of adjustments so here's how you should manage your expectations:The fabric goes a little further than the velcro in some areas so it doesn't adhere in every spot. I would just recommend having a handheld staple gun (stanley light duty should do the trick) handy to secure the fabric when you change out the covers on the sofa arms. I tucked in/folded over some areas so the leg attachment holes are still accessible. The covers on the cushions for the back of the sofa are a little big near the zipper (which faces down) but that gets covered up/smushed down when you put the cushions on the couch.I didn't have my staple gun handy so I used a regular stapler like an absolute weirdo and it turned out ok but I will probably go back in with my staple gun when I switch out the legs.
