Marginal benefit, maybe...
This product never eliminated the ammonia in my fish pond. The ammonia readings hovered around the lower end of the scale in spite of applying as instructed. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt & speculate that perhaps it kept the levels from rising any higher than they were. The ammonia count eventually hit 0, but I'll give the credit to on-going partial water changes & continual booster shots of healthy microbes (such as Microbe Lift).
