Will continue to use to make clean up easy
I have a mini gas grill that that I use. First time I cooked pizza with the round mat and chicken on the square one but no grill lines on either. Maybe because it's a gas grill and not charcoal to get the grill lines but tasted good either way... Clean up was a breeze though. No complaints in that department

Worth avoiding
I received this product at a discount in exchange for a review..Normally $9.99, I paid $0.99 for these. And in my opinion, that's a wasted dollar. Anyone rewarding 5 stars for this product has either done so out of ignorance or greed. So, why such a strong allegation? I'm not sure where to begin.Let's begin with the claims. The box is clearly marked PFOA FREE. As far as I know, PFOA is used in the production of many products, including Teflon (PTFE), but does not remain in significant amounts in the finished product; at least non-stick coatings. Although that's questionable in some things. Microwave popcorn bags for example. But even if you're not eating it, it's still a toxic waste product in the production of anything containing Teflon. And unfortunately, too many people confuse PFOA and PTFE. But let's not dwell on that or I might start talking about VW defrauding consumers and polluting the environment.These mats are Teflon coated. Something any parrot owner will tell you is toxic to birds at any temperature over 525 degrees, and dangerous to most humans for that matter. So saying that these mats won't burn up to 500 degrees is not really telling the whole story. You're not putting them in an oven with a thermostat. You're putting them over an open flame on a grill. Do you know when a grill reaches 500 degrees? I don't. But I suspect reaching higher temps is probably not that difficult to do. That's a risk I'm not going to take. They're purported to retain grill marks. What do they think causes grill marks? Extremely high temperatures.Then my second big problem is the construction of the mats themselves. Running my finger on the edges brings up what looks like fiberglass threads (see photo). Next to burnt Teflon, something else I'm not keen to eat with my food.They're also listed as dishwasher safe, on the top rack. Really? You can put them over hot coals, but not on the bottom rack of a dishwasher?These are thin mats. Probably about as thick as that plastic that's used in frustration inducing packaging. Flexible, but not soft like silicone mats.In my opinion, this product doesn't merit a rating higher than one star.And, to add insult to injury, those pictures that talk about a bonus gift inside... There is no bonus gift.There you have it. A 'free sample' review that doesn't give five stars, and doesn't use the words 'honest and unbiased'. We're a dying breed. ;-p

Great for veggies & fish
I really liked these grill mats, they are a great for veggies, fish & anything small that could fall through the grates. They are much better than the baskets you get for veggies, that I find hard to grill with & even harder to clean. I really loved cooking veggies & fish on them, but the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that for me personally, I didn't love cooking burgers & steaks with them. I like the grease from these type of meats to drip away. I have not tried chicken yet, but I think it will be great for that. I tried a "grill frozen pizza" & that was awesome! Definitely something I will take with us when we go camping. The only other con that I can see is that they roll up on you until you put the food on them. They do NOT like to lie flat at all, which makes them a little difficult to get the food on them on the grill. This can also be listed as a pro, since rolling them up makes them so easy to store. As for cleaning, they are super easy to clean & while listed as dishwasher safe, I did not see the need to put them in the dishwasher. Nothing sticks to them & just washed with soapy water & rinse. For this reason alone I recommend them, anyone who has washed one of those veggie baskets knows what I mean! I received these mats at a discount for my honest unbiased opinion.

What a great invention
(Disclaimer - My wife and I were invited by the seller to try and review their products. We only agree to these requests when it's something we would actually use. The fact we received them for free has no bearing on our review, and we have written negative reviews in the past for products we were sent for free. But we tend to accept more review invitations for quality products, so that's why many of these invited reviews have high ratings. Also, for this type of invited review, we always begin with a disclaimer.)These three mats are now indispensable to my wife's cooking.They are very light and thin, and if you are taking out outdoors to BBQ, they are very easy to transport.They do not stick, and are very easy to clean. With these you don't have to worry about the rust from the grill, or having to scrub the grill later, or having the sauce and grease drip to the bottom of the oven and then later becoming very hard to clean.These mats conduct heat very well and get hot quickly, unlike the traditional thick and heavy pans.These definitely help make my wife's cooking easier and more convenient.
