Bought this product because I needed something both for welding and gardening and got it yesterday. Felt in the mood to try them out on some of the many bramble bushes in my garden and got a bit carried away.Happy to report they stood the test very well. I went easy at first but as I gained trust in the gloves I went full steam ahead, not a single thorn got through, most of the thorns break off when faced with these gloves. The extended arm protection is also very handy as I was able to do the gardening in short sleeves. Other reviews say it is a good glove for welding so I think this is a very cost effective allrounder that will last.One drawback is that the inner red liner does leave red pigment on your hands after using them for a while due to contact with sweat. Easy to wash off and not really a negative.9/10 would recommend for gardening use, if as I expect good for welding too, it'll prove a cost effective all rounder.

Good product

These are very protective, thick all-purpose gardening/manual work and (so far) durable gloves. I use them mainly for 'bramble-bashing' and I have never felt a thorn through them. They are also very long - covering most of the lower arm almost up to the elbow. No more bramble scratches! I can't comment about their heat resistance, but I'd imagine they're more than up to the job. Stitching seems fine - only time will tell as to their longevity, but I have high hopes. Not the cheapest gloves around but on balance definitely worth the outlay!

Fantastic quality and very comfortable to use.

We use these for popping logs into the log burner and have found them to be comfortable with sufficient heat resistance to meet our requirements. The cotton inside is lovely and soft. They were good value and I would recommend them.

Very effective gloves. Can place my hand into the fire and move burning wood and coal around. If you hold for 4 seconds or longer you will burn yourself. The heat manages to pierce the gloves after this time. It still does the job

These gloves are very comfy and allow good use of your fingers, considering the protection they offer. We are using them to put wood into our fire without the fear of getting burned. The “glove”supplied with the burner was useless as it was only a mitt with no control.

I tried a few different pairs of gloves for use in both forging and welding these gloves are by far the best. They feel well made, strong durable excellent heat resistant and still able to figers freely for precision work definitely recommend them

Not the most insulated gloves I have tried, but work well enough. Good value.

If you're the type that welds all day, or works your fireplace, you will get burned in these gloves and they are so stiff.you won't get burnt through the gloves but the heat overtime will cause blisters
