The best bell
We have purchased 5 of these bells for various enduro and XC bikes and as a gift. It is the best bell! The sound is unique and easily heard. Simple to sound the bell, keep it on, switch it off. The fact that you can keep it on without having to continually manually ring it is a superb feature. We have found it to be reliable and durable. Five stars!

Good loud sound, but fragile
I bought this to replace one I broke while moving a friend's bike. He'd already repaired his twice. The plastic is very fragile. It easily catches on things or can get touched by things, and it breaks easily. That's a shame, because these bells work really well. They're the most audible of any I've seen in real life.

Good buy
Very easy to use and mount to the bike bars. Works well for my road / sidewalk commute to and from work. Low key attention noise maker.

Don't use if you're a mountain biker
I bought this for my husband after a friend showed it to me. Within a month and one fall, my husband's knee hit the bell lever and it broke, rendering it useless. Foolishly I thought that was a fluke and bought one for myself, since I"m a more cautious mountain biker. One crash where the handlebars hit my leg and...yep...the lever broke. Now it's useless. Might be fine for road or casual riding, but don't buy this if you're a mountain biker.

Not for Singletrack
The design is pretty creative but poorly executed. The bell is suspended from the bike mount using a flexible spring. Inside the bell is a magnet. There is also a magnet on the lever that you can pull away. As you ride along, the idea is the bell sounds as you go over bumps alerting other trail goers. The problem is sans the bell, spring, and magnets; the assembly construct is of cheap plastic, which, if you brush up against anything you would naturally encounter while mountain biking, the bell is subject to breaking. Mine broke about 1/4 into my first ride with it (see pictures)The other problems are subjective nuance things. The install is via micro Philips head behind the spring. I would have preferred and hex head on the outside since I carry an Allen wrench set on my rides. The bell chime isn't as loud as I would like. I ride fast trails, and it's not loud enough to alert traffic coming the other way.Pros:-clever design-it works as advertised-Rubber install ringCons:-Made of cheap plastic and breaks very easily.-Install is awkwardSummary: This bell would likely work fine if you do some neighborhood riding and maybe some non-technical riding, which defeats the purpose since this bell would be most useful on windy, flowy multi-use single-track trails with blind turns. If you do any aggressive single-track riding, I would not recommend this bell.1 star for the design1 star because it appears to be hassle-free to return the item (I'll update if not)

Nice!
Great bell, and it can be disabled when not needed.

Be Bear Aware
I live in bear country and bought this to alert the bears of my presence while on the trail. When off trail or gravel, it works great but we also have a nice long paved trail and on the smooth surface it makes zero noise.

Favorite type of bike bell
Love this bell on bike paths, streets and especially winding trails w blind corners. Can’t tell how many hikers love it. I usually use only when needed which is nice
