The replacement starter works like a charm and it is has been designed to be a perfect match for the original Denso starter that co.es from the factory, price is very competitive considering there is no core charge, highly recommended

I finished the installation of the new starter 10 minutes ago.
I finished installing the new starter in my Wife's 2011 Rav4 10 minutes ago and it couldn't have gone better. The old starter motor had a bad spot in it that would periodically prevent the car from starting. With the help of my 90° impact wrench from Lowes, this was a 1 hour job in my driveway. The car started on the first try and started on all of the subsequent attempts. I'll update the review if anything goes wrong in the future but I don't anticipate any issues. This starter was $100 less then the starters at my local auto parts store.

Don’t know what the longevity of the starter will be but it appears to be of good quality and was quick and easy to install. 2 people took 20 minutes.

wrong product, doesnt' fit and doesnt' work for Toyota highlander 2010
this is supposed to fit 2010 Toyota highlander based upon the OEM part number but though its looks the same, its about half an inch taller. And either that or the product is defective and so didnt' work.about to return it.The phone number listed as support for this company goes to the wrong company.

Worked great.
This ended up being maybe an hour to swap out. Based on reviews I did check it over carefully to make sure all the to-be-internal parts seemed secured correctly; they were. I removed the air filter cover, unscrewed the air box, disconnected some vacuum lines, and flipped it up to get to the two starter mounting bolts. Have to be very careful with the power connection if you leave the battery connected. But that's all - old one out, new one in; one connector plus the power cable. Two weeks and so far so good.

Impressive delivery by Amazon. Got the delivery within 24hrs. Starter worked as expected. Too early to tell about reliability. Will update as time passes.

Good fit
Fit my Scion XB without issue and good mating surface. Had to apply penetrating oil and heat/torch to the bolts to get them off without incident. Torqued bolts to spec and all working well so far. Cannot comment on the longevity of this starter, but price was good and install is easy if you have the tools and basic skills. Torque specs to mounting bolts is 37 n.m in case anyone needs to know.
