Absolutely love this book. I bought it for my son as a baby and still read it 8 years later. Have bought many times for new babies. It’s lovely poem and pictures. Will make you cry as a new mum reading it to your little one! ❤️

A beautiful book with a lovely message. My baby loves listening to it

I first saw this book in the library, my 14 month old picked it out and seemed to take a liking to it (she also has a thing for polar animals). Since we've had it at home I read it anywhere up to 20 times a day, at her request! The written parts of the book are short and although they don't rhyme they are still rhythmic and almost poetic. The artwork is beautiful, soothing and interesting, allowing the child to point things out or act out actions ('the mountains are steep' can be acted out using the hand in a downward motion).It has become so popular with us that I've bought it in hardback for my daughter. Very pleased indeed.

This is an absolutely lovely little story book for babies about a tiny penguin that’s is smaller than the world around them. She’s it’s beautifully illustrated and has a nice rhyme scheme.

Bought this as a gift. We have owned this book for a while and love reading it to our daughter and now our son and hope our friends enjoy reading it to their newborn when they're old enough too.

Fabulous little book. So perfrectly written for a Christening service as the little penguin reminds all of us small and large, young and old, just how close we are to God's great care and his love. Which is so wide, so high, so deep, so close and quickly near to us because we mean so much to him, just like the baby penguin reminds us how little ones are so much needed by the big ones!
