They are very small but that helps reduce pedal strikes

I've purchased so many different pedals while searching for something that works for my kids 16" bmx bike. I wanted something that had a lot of grip, wasn't plastic, and wasn't a large platform like an adult pedal. This pedal is perfect. The pins aren't so sharp that they are going to take the skin off of shins, but they're sharp enough to provide a lot better grip than a plastic pedal. The size is also perfect for my 5 year old. They seem to be well built, but time will tell if they can take abuse.

Delivered as promised and better than I expected. I bought two pairs on accident instead of 1. Ended up keeping the other set for my wife's ebike because of how nice and grippy they are.

I have these installed on 3 of my bikes, 2 road and one electric. They are not too big and have excellent traction. I have not used these on my mountain bike, so I can’t attest to there strength off road.

These replaced some notchy bearing plastic kids' pedals. They turned out 10g lighter than those, which is great, but they ended up at 290g for the pair which is heavier than advertised. They spin very smooth and without any play. The pedal side of the spindle flange has quite a bit of taper, but they included spacers. I wish they didn't need spacers to cinch up tight, but they do. The left and right flanges are also different profiles, so one side took 1 spacer, the other took 3. I took off the spikes because the kid is just learning and he's bound to scrape up his shins.

These pedals are awesome. Super lightweight, grip my shoes like super glue and have a top quality feel to them. I have hundreds of miles on them already and I couldn't be happier. I'm super picky, like my friends make fun of me picky, so I tried out like 7 different sets of pedals of all sizes and price ranges on my new bike and these were the winners by a long shot. Not a giant mountain bike pedal, but they grip like nobody's business. Not too small but light enough that the only thing I feel is the cranks somehow magically stuck to my feet. I like these better than clipless because they feel super similar and work almost as well if not AS WELL, but I have still have freedom of foot movement. No need to hesitate on these. Just get'em. Oh and the packaging is really nice too!

I bought these pedals for my gravel bike. Clipless pedals don't work for my knees, and I am not crazy about the very large mountain bike/bmx-style pedals, or the generic cage pedals. And, I didn't want silver pedal - nothing else on my bike is silver - so that limited my options.These pedals are a nice size, not too big, not too small. I used them for the first time with minimalist shoes (thin soles) in the rain. They gripped well, and provided a comfortable platform for my foot.They seem very well-made, and the bearings are EXTREMELY smooth out of the box,, smoother than pedals I've purchased from Crank Bros and MKS.
