had higher hopes
The pruners arrived quickly and nicely packaged. I immediately got it out of the package and put it to the test. I choose this model over several other because of it's reviews, it's hand grip (was afraid a traditional hand grip might slip without the brass knuckle type keeping hand in place) discovered it wasn't a very comfortable grip. Also to get the blades wide open was awkward to have all your fingers in the knuckle area. It also felt a little flimsy as well where the rivets are, I'll be intrigued to see how long this pruner last. The safety lock didn't stay locked when I put it my pocket or tool caddie.Started on a piece of deadwood on a maple about pinky finger size...immediately noticed how dull the blade is and thought it might be better on greenwood...nope not any better. I'll need to sharpen the blade, never fun when it is brand new and I'll be curious to see how often I'll have to sharpen the blade.I'm an arborist, female with medium hands and have high end pruners, but really wanted to find a small ratchet hand pruner to help with certain cuts for smaller deadwood on trees, and shrubs. It didn't cost a lot thank goodness, but now wishing I had used that $20.00 towards another set of felco pruners, or small saw.I would not buy these again nor recommend to a friend.

Great pruners, happy hands!
These pruners are the best that I have had. I do a lot of trimming as plants grow quickly here in Florida. Have been able to cut a wide variety of stem/branch sizes using the racheting feature & have had no more issues with my arthritic hands at the end of the job! A very thoughtful & useful Christmas gift from my husband!! Thank you Dear😊

Extremely hurt hands.
Severe arthritis in my hands. Had thumb joints surgically removed out of both hands. Really,. but I can still trim flowers using this trimmer I'm so glad I found it it's just what I needed. You have extremely hurt hands or weak hands, this is perfect for you.

This dog won't hunt!
Yes, these snips are easy to lock; yes, they are ergonomic and fit your hands really well; yes, they are easy to hold............BUT!!!......they don't cut worth a d***!!! The cutting edge on these snips does not act with an opposing blade; it is only met with a groove in the opposing handle which has way too much room to offer an opposing edge for which the primary blade needs to intersect with. They won't cut any tender green stems or branches. MORRITA obviously put a lot of time and consideration to make these snips look great and feel great in your hands, they did not give much consideration for the primary purpose of this tool; it just doesn't cut well.

High quality, great price!
I bought these for my wife and she LOVES them! They work great without a ton of effort, her hands don't cramp up after using them for hours like her previous tools did, and they look like they are made to last with strong quality parts!

Great shears
These do the trick! Make pruning so much easier. The grip width is a little large for my hands, but as long as they aren't opened completely, I have no problem. The ratcheting mechanism makes hand fatigue a thing of the past. They seem sturdy, I've used them several times with no issues.

Lost sharpness quickly & resharpening doesn't work
I bought these because of the easy on my hands design, but I expected good quality pruners. Pruning shears lost all sharpness within 2 months. Then I tried resharpening them, thinking that was all that was needed. Nope. Still can't cut the tiniest flower stem.
