These are the real deal with all 5 layers, charcoal in the centre and they pass the water test. I had to return filters from other sellers that advertised 5 layers but were only 4 layers or let water through. Product arrived overnight.

These filters arrived promptly and, although a bit small, slipped into the right position.However, it is very hard to draw or blow breath through and they became damp with condensation from my own breath within minutes. I appreciate that they are disposable but they need to have more than a 20 minute life.

I was a bit skeptical about the use of these until i took a spin and tested them using a glass and some water.I was quite surprised, surely under a stream of water, some fluid will pass through the material one it becomes waterlogged. But it also diverts the brunt of the stream under the tap. Which is interesting.You wouldn't be using them for scuba diving, but i think there is quite some use for respiritory protection during covid-19. Used with the right sort of mask with filter pockets. If in doubt, use 2.This is a nice solution that removes the need for chunky respirator masks if used correctly.Getting to the price, I found it to be reasonable. You do get multiple items which are sealed. and as described they are of 5-layers as advertised. Again all items are sealed and you can get a reasonable amount of use before needing to replace (albeit more regular due to contagions). But this is a very decent interim solution and conforms to not using masks with valves.Recommended it you feel out of place using respirators.

These are a replacement for filters supplied with various masks. Slightly affect air flow and increase warmth. Can't say for sure whether they work or not but hope they do! If you wear a mask all day for work etc you would need to change the filter daily so the 50 pack is good value.

I made masks for all the family and these little filters fit in them to add an extra layer of protection during the pandemic.I don't believe they would suffice in a medical situation but for everyday use they work very well.

The media could not be loaded.  As we all know, in these trying and frustrating time it's either no mask or mask some of the time.On a personal level, I choose to use 90%of the time simply because I go to so many different places with their own way on how the rules should be.So, instead of the cheap blue paper filters I chose a decent themed face mask that requires a filter. They are easy to fit inside the mask. A slight fold of the filter and insert and it should fit nicely in the mask.The filters I ordered, were as seen on amazon, and despatched and received within days of my order, 10/10!

I am in a high risk category. I make my own face masks which I attach to my face with surgical tape. I breath through the filter not round it. These filters are attached to an outer carrier which is sealed to cover both my mouth and nose.I live with the looks and comments because I don't want Covid.

Like: They are cheaper than other brands....but...They filter quite quickly.Dislike: The install process takes longer (10 mins soak and three rinses).The activated carbon seems to always escape these pods...none got in my drinking water though.Good if you don't mind these issues, which are not big ones to me.
