Loved reading these!

Couldn't put it down. Very readable book on lubbock lore. I lived in Lubbock for about 7 years and this book brought back lots of memories. The author included addresses for most of the locations so I found myself looking up a lot of these places on google earth. If you have ever lived in Lubbock you will probably enjoy this book.

I am currently still reading this selection from author Darrell Maloney. He is a gifted and humorous writer, and through conversations with one of his friends at an earlier date, the inkling of this book supposedly came to be! Wish I could have been there when it happened, but I have had plenty of my own encounters in Lubbock with unexplained entities. Anyone who wants a slice of the macabre should definitely dive in. Such fun!

The book is a series of incidences remembered by Lubbock citizens, past and present. It is very easy to put aside and pick up again without missing any of the stories. A great filler book of interest to anyone living in Lubbock. And, it makes me want to drive by the cemetery.

There is nothing like a good ghost story. I really enjoyed this book of place I know. The writer did a really good job with the research to share the history of many of the buildings where people reported their encounters.

Very interesting tales of the unknown..But as with everything paranormal..it must be taken with a grain of salt..some stories were pretty unbelievable..while others are very unbelievable..great writing though..would be a great book to read to teens at the campfire.

Enthralling, interesting and jaw dropping. Been to most of the sites mentioned, but never experienced anything out of the ordinary. Loved the book. Valerie
