Explosive

For any David Garrett fan, I think you will find that this album is a little different musically than David's other albums. It is a mix of classical and of course crossover; but this time the songs are a little more electronic and one song; Lose Yourself is David's version of Eminem's rap song; which I find so very upbeat and soulful. The whole album is awesome and David never ceases to amaze me at the talent and the different music genres that he will explore and produce. I absolutely love his version of Baboushka! David Garrett is an innovator (like his song, Innovation) and not afraid to try something different because the man has the fire and the talent to make beautiful music with his violin.

This latest CD has 11 of David's own compositions and it's a BRILLIANT CD. If you don't know who David Garrett is yet, you are missing one of the greatest violinist/composer of all time and certainly the BEST among the living! From the first song Dangerous, he pulls you in for the ride of your life, HIS WAY!! David breathes music 24/7 and it shows with his own, and believe me, you won't even know it's a song of his, because you will think you are listening to a classic of a legend, but in reality, you are listening to a legend in the making...David Garrett! Buy the Deluxe Edition, the extra 6 songs well worth it!

As usual, I love it. There are a couple pieces I don't care too much for but over all it's a wonderful album. It's hard to find something new to say about David Garrett.He's such a great artist and composer and his music is on almost all of my playlists. I don't think day goes by that I don't listen to his music. If you like powerful and dramatic, or soft and sensitive you'll find just what you want.

David Garrett is a violin genius. I have all his CD's, and in his new CD-- EXPLOSIVE--, David has taken his violin play to a higher level of creative perfection. I think the title of his new CD-- EXPLOSIVE-- is the best way to describe David's violin play in this CD. His violin play in this CD is not rock and roll; but most of the songs are upbeat and energizing. It seems like David has taken classical violin format and speeded it up by 1000 times to make it lively, exuberant, fantastic music to listen to. You need to fasten your seat belt when listening to David's CD--EXPLOSIVE--because your in for the fastest, most energetic, most EXPLOSIVE music that you have ever heard. Guaranteed, you have never heard any music like this, because it's a brand new style of exceptionally creative violin play; the first of it's kind. His new CD is ear candy at it's ultimate.

David Garrett never ceases to amaze me, once again he has gone above and beyond expectations, this is a powerful and energetic masterpiece. I hope people of all ages get to hear this CD and love it as much as I do. I am also hoping there will be a DVD of a live performance of Explosive in the near future.Ps Mr Garrett is also one of the best Violinists of classical music i have ever heard.

I believe this is his newest album. As you can see from the cover he is definitely doing what he can to bring forth a new generation of musicians, especially violinists! The GREATEST VIOLINIST OF OUR CURRENT AGE. He calls this crossover music, but it almost all has its roots in one or more classical piece or fragments of pieces. I love how he 'composed' this new extended album. Exciting fast songs countered with slower romantic ones. His musicality has also matured. Even EXPLOSIVE sounds like classical music! Can't wait to put this one into the hands of my granddaughter.

This is the best album! It is so much fun and very diverse. I think that is what I like best about Explosive there is so much energy flowing through the music but at the same time it is interspersed with beautiful introspective songs as well.Thank you David for all your hard work and enjoyment of music that comes through in every song.3/31/16 I recently ordered the vinyl for this album through Amazon UK. The music is crystal clear and exceptional! The packaging is over the top cool and the records are not just boring black but red, bright red!!! I am so glad I got the vinyl it is quite a keepsake.

I love this album, love this musician. I’m also now a fan of the seller. At first, I received the wrong album. As soon as I contacted them, they asked me to send them a photo of what I received.
