I have been using this gravity phone mount in my car for around one and a half months (actually due to the stay-at-home order, I only used it for around ten trips)Pros:1. Convenience: it is really easy to set up and use.2. Applicability: Compared to the magnetic car-mount holder I purchased previously which only has one adhesive magnetic plate, this gravity mount can be used for different (more than one) cell phones.3. Fastness: Compared to another car mount holder using suction cup I purchased previously, this one clamping air vent is more stable and tighter. The one using suction cup is very easy to fall down from dashboard.4. Compatibility: adjustable for the different sizes of cell phones.Cons: The cell phone cannot stick to gravity phone mount as tight as using the magnetic car-mount holder.In sum, overall this gravity phone mount has more advantages than the ones with magnet or suction cup.

I really liked this phone holder, and never had issues with the actual phone holding parts in front. Loved the gravity system, extremely easy to put my phone in and take out.The parts that I didn't like so much were the plastic clips in the back that attach the phone holder to the air vent. One of the two plastic clips broke off, rendering the whole thing unusable as it can't attach to anything anymore. I clipped it on the first day I got it, and hadn't ever moved it around.Unfortunate, because I only had it for two and a half months before it gave out on me. The look and ease of use were major pluses but durability is definitely an issue.

This item would deserve my 5 stars if it didn’t put to much weight on the air vent pulling them all down making my phone look down instead of straight. I have to use something in the middle of the vent to hold the phone up.

It holds the iPhone 8 well and easy to install to the air vent. The bottom supporting bracket makes the phone stay in place steadily. I really like this feature compared to other car phone mounts which only have two side clamps. I can use one hand to insert my phone to the phone holder. The quality looks good I hope it can last for long time.

Was super easy to “install”. I even put it on an up and down vent and it stays in place!

Simple and easy to use, sturdy. On our vent it keeps the phone high enough to get a better signal on cross country trips. Very pleased. Wanted one that was not a wireless charger so as to not overcharge. We have 2 wireless chargers also, one is auto clamping which is annoying, the other is like this one using gravity and is much easier to use.

This product is easy to install and useful.

The media could not be loaded.  The design of this phone holder is very clever. It's simple to operate, and it can hold smartphones of all sizes reliably. One-handed operation. I used it all the time for road trips two weeks ago. It's so convenient. The bottom tray is signed to leave extra space for the mobile phone charging interface. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the product.

Ive been used to using a magnet holder for the ease mounting it to a car holder, but my latest phone / phablet is too large now for the magnet to hold. Although it may not seem like much I'd rather not to press any buttons and my experience with these mounts is that it slides around on the vent. Not this one. The clamp is actually pressured and not just the strength of sticking it in the vent. Because of this there is minimal mount slide. The design itself is amusing and clever, but really cool to see it in motion - almost like a ratchet and gears look. But most importantly, it works well and no extra steps - just drop the phone in and the weight of itself pushes the sides closed. Then just lift and it comes right out.

The rubber that helps grip the holder to the air vents has come unstuck and now it wont stay on. I’ve only had it for a few months! Wouldn’t recommend

Surprisingly smooth action and nicely made. Fits a treat in our van and does the job it's supposed to, even with my iPhone 12 Pro Max which is both big and heavy.
