Digital Shot Tracking Tags Set

The system itself is fine. I have been using for 3+ years. However, in the last year, I have been experiencing problems with the tags randomly breaking off. Including after I take a swing. I was hoping that I might just have a bad lot of tags but I continue to have the problem. The manufacturer claims that this problem seems to be infrequent. I don't slam my clubs into the bag or do anything that I would think would cause the damage. I may just ride it out with the tags that I have now and look for a different system once I run out of replacements.

Have great difficulty getting them to connect so the tap on the screen before taking a shot doesn't work?

The tags are very convenient. They work well with the free app.. but all the same functions are available with the app if you dont mind tagging you club manually using the app each time. The tags just allow you to leave your phone in your pocket.... most of the time. I find that sometimes its hard to find the spot on my phone where the NFC sensor will pick up the tag, and the club wont register so I have to pull out my phone and tag the shot manually anyway 5-6 times a round. Its not perfect but a good cheap way to get into club and game stats. I also found that i cant put a tag on my putter. My putter grip is a superstroke counterbalanced, and has a metal weight in the grip.. so i have to carry the putter tag in my pocket to tag putts. Not sure there is another way around that, but offering perhaps a tag without the screw on it, maybe something you could use as a ball mark as well might be nice so I dont have to carry both...

The stats are awesome. The tabs didn't work as advertised. My phone constantly went dark and wouldn't read the tabs. I had to take my phone out so much to re-open the app and tag the phone it wasn't with it. I'm using the app alone and will get either the classic or live version later because the stats are worth it.

Was new in the box but one of the tabs broke off within the first week.

androI'd app does not work propertly, some times it works others not, waste time in pre shot rutine just wondering if it records the shoot or not, then I forgit aboUT the tags and tried to enter it manual, again issue just trying to get to the screenwill change once app is fixed

First one star rating I've given. Totally useless, more of a distraction than anything. Would love to return but I missed the window by 3 days, ugh. Tried using it for three rounds and as I said, it was more of a nuisance than anything. If shot tracking is your thing than you might find this somewhat useful but the information provided I would imagine would be useful to people who golf daily when they get the app to work properly,Problem is, you tap the tagged end of the club, hope it registers in the app as your phone is in your pocket, out of sight, mark it as a stroke, rinse and repeat. I'd much rather have accurate info about yardage about the hole in front of me and enjoy the company of my friends than watching this painfully unreliable system, making sure to remember to tell it your proceeding to the next hole, checking if your score is accurate etc.As I said, I wish I could return this but I'm ot an everyday golfer so by the time I played several rounds and learned just how much a pita this setup is, it was too late.

This really helped me narrow down my average distance for my clubs and show me where I needed to work on my game. I am currently in Germany and the courses I play where all loaded in the app so there should no be an issue there.
