Fantastic Awning. Envy of the neighborhood.
This was a great value and excellent purchase. Installation was easy. The workmanship and materials are100% top of the line. The video says to install at 10 feet. We installed at 8 feet without any issues. I accidentally threw away a small end-cap with the packaging. Customer service sent me a replacement right away without complaint. Everything about this experience was wonderful. Highly recommended.UPDATE: One year later and still extremely happy with our awning. With the push of a button, we are able to transform our deck into an oasis. It has been a joy and we are so happy we made the investment. I finally added to pictures to the review so that you can see the finished results. Still an excellent product and highly recommended.

Great awning at an affordable price
We purchased this awning after looking at a number of others including Sunsetter. This awning was middle of the road in pricing and the reviews were pretty good.We’ve only had the awning for a month so it remains to be seen how it holds up after a winter but so far so good. The awning opens and closes with ease and we love having the remote so we don’t have to go outside to open and close it as the sun sets in the evening.Pros:-Remote control-Easy pitch adjustment with provided hooks (manual)-arms appear to be of decent strength and qualityCons:-can’t use in medium or higher winds (no side arms and will buffet with stronger gusts)So far we love ours. Again, I want to see how it looks in 12 months after a winter and the awning fabric has seen a lot of sun. I can recommend this unit based on the small amount of information and time I’ve had with it only.

Great Awning - Expensive, But Worth It!
We researched many other awnings before purchasing this L Series from Advaning. It was expensive, but exceeded our expectations from the moment we opened the package - which was very, very substantial. Installation was smooth and as described in the manual and the product video. We loved that everything was preassembled. Many other brands that we researched required extensive assembly. All the hardware is very substantial and hardware was supplied for many different applications depending on the location or material of the structure. The fabric is top quality and we expect many years of service. It's great not to have the side bars for support. It allows for total unobstructed access. The ability to adjust the pitch of the awning is also a great feature. There was a small end cap that was cracked during transit. When I contacted Advaning their customer service acknowledged the problem and has shipped the replacement. We plan on at least 2 more Advaning awnings in the near future. I can't think of anything the manufacturer could have done to make it any better!

Advanting Luxury Series
This is a great Awning... I was easily able to install it and only needed the second guy for the lifting in to place which took only a couple minutes. The quality is high and the function is very Straight forward. First things first... It arrived in a heave large box... two people needed to move it into your garage or wherever you need to keep it until you are ready to install. no signature was required but the driver told my neighbor and she let me know it arrived. the unboxing is an amazing experience... I should have taken a photo... layer after layer of boxing... a lot for the recycle can but it wont arrived damaged even if the box is beat up. here are a couple of things you need to know about the manual verse the website... the website states you need a min of 10" I had 12" so I ordered... when I studied the manual it stated that you needed 12" plus1" for a total of 13" above the door or window... I called customer service thinking that I would need to return it and found out that I really only needed about 8 inches... confusing yes ..but good news to me so I installed the brackets (measure carefully the distance apart as there is very little wiggle room on the 10foot) got my partner to lift it up with me and boom it was done! I needed to adjust the pitch as I am over a door that opens out but it clears the door easily... There are a couple of minor things to complain about for me... one... with there was an option for a non-scalloped front. I like a cleaner look and the scalloping is a bit old fashioned. its ok... but would have liked the front to have a cleaner look... second. there is a unexplained tool (see the photo, green wand thing) I have know idea and its not explained in the manual... but I did not need it so I just put it with the manual in my saved manual box... Anyhow, I love it … love the button to close it when rain is on the way... easy easy …

purchased to provide shade in my small backyard near the ocean. I installed on a wall that had been erected to hold a metal decorative panel that is backline at night. The awning provides shade over 2 love seat sofas. Centered between the sofas, against the metal panel wall, is a beautiful water fountain.The Awning was easy to install with complete instructions provided in the packaging. I decided to add an additional bracket to give more stability, but it was unlikely necessary. I had 4 posts to hold the awning, so each post got it's own bracket.I made 2 additional brackets to hold the awning temporarily (see photos). They just helped me install the awning with the help of my son.The awning "reaches" all the way into the courtyard, covering both sofa's easily. The bonus is that I can raise and lower the front pitch to give maximum headroom, or drop it down far enough to make it easy to clean with a garden hose.So far, so good!!! Larry

good quality product so far
Have used this for 1 full summer so far with good result. My deck is on the south side, getting lots of morning and mid day sun. Oh what a difference this made to enjoy the deck in the summer. My brother and father installed it (they are very comfortable with this kind of stuff). Its heavy so need a couple of strong guys. Took 3 hours or so, but It works great! The material appears quality. The remote is so easy. enjoying the deck much more.
