Muscle Pharm Arnold Schwarzenegger Series Iron Whey, Vanilla, 2 Pound

I'm use to using Nitro Peak by Inner Armour and Nitro Peak really helps me recover quickly after workouts. I wanted something less expensive and I went back to an old favorite: Whey Tech Pro 24 from Vitamin Shoppe. However, I noticed that I didn't recover quite as quickly. I read up on Arnold Iron Whey and felt that it would be a pretty good product as it is supposed to be Muscle Pharm's top whey, perhaps higher quality than their Combat powder. I'm not sure if this is the case, but I did recover about just as fast on Iron Whey as I used to with Nitro Peak. Taste is good. Mixes very good in a shaker cup. Overall it seems to produce more lean results. You would think that this was a combination whey like Nitro Peak or Combat with how you are able to recover. If you are bulking or want slower digestion, take it with low fat milk. It makes it taste even better. Overall, I think I'm going to stick with this for a while. I've been using Arnold's Iron Whey for about a year now. I've gone through about 3 2.27kg (5lb) tubs on my own and can attest that it's my favorite. The flavor is among the best of them. I haven't had any other whey protein shake that tastes better than this one.The price is a bit steep, as most protein shakes are, but if you are willing to pay, you'll like this product.As far as productivity in workout, it seems to work well. My body is starting to shape quite well with use of this product after each workout. The best part other than the flavor is that it mixes very easily. I only use a shaker, no blending ball or blending required. Directly after an intense workout I can down instant protein without difficulty.I use water, and it tastes great, but if you want to use milk with this protein shake, it sort of becomes a little piece of heaven. It tastes so good!

"I'LL BE BACK" but not to this product. There is no way I will be purchasing another 5lb tub of this stuff. Its not horrible, but its not great. I have been using ON Gold Standard Whey previous to this but decided to give it a go since like many of you, I am an Arnold fan and was excited to hear about a product with his name on it. I know Muscle Pharm to be a quality product supplier as well so immediately I had high expectations upon trying this. For me its just too different from ON for me to enjoy, but that does not necessarily mean it is not great for other people.First off, its filled well and it is a very fine powder which from looking at it makes it look great. However, it does not mix as well as one would expect. One thing I love about ON is that, for me, it blends very well. there no powdery taste left in my mouth nor is there any chunks (when I use my shake bottle or even if I stir it in). With this product if I use my shake bottle it works relatively well however there are still small chunks that clump together. If I try to stir it (when I dont have my shake bottle around) it is CLUMP CITY. One chunk, two chunk, red chunk, blue chunk. You get the picture. It does not mix well at all when stirring.Second of all, its a little too sweet and too thick for my taste. I like to use double scoops right after my workout whenever I'm taking protein and when I was on ON I enjoyed the fact that the consistency remained a little bit watery so that it was easier to drink. In addition ON is not as sweet (not too big of a sweet tooth). If you enjoy the consistency and taste of a real shake in your protein, then this might be for you. From the very first sip it is very sweet with a THICK milkshake-ish consistency to the protein. It completely threw me off guard at first because I was not used to it but slowly its becoming okay. Still not preferable though.I have read many negative reviews stating that this product smells horrible or gives diarrhea or what not. Those made me semi skeptical at first but with such a small percentage of reviews stating this I went ahead and bought it and I can say that I have NOT had any of those issues with this product. It smells fine (like chocolate) and I do not experience any gas or diarrhea from consuming this product. However it may be that it is unique to each consumer. But if that is one of your major concerns I can attest to those being INACCURATE statements as this product does not cause diarrhea in my case.TL;DR: Rated it 3 stars because its not horrible but not great. Doesn't mix well and is very thick consistency. Also very sweet.HASTA LA VISTA BABY

I have used whey protein for several years as part of my training for sports and general well-being. There was a time when I was content just buying the GNC brand whenever I stopped by to get my multivitamin there and using that. When I used to use GNC protein, it clumped together and never mixed evenly. It also generally stuck to the bottom of my shaker no matter how frequently or thoroughly I cleaned it.I don't think Iron Whey is particularly flavorful. Truth behold, one scoop in a shaker of water doesn't taste like much of anything. But it dissolves quickly and evenly and I have never had any problem getting it down fast. If you're the sort of person who needs a really flavorful post-workout shake, then maybe this isn't for you. But I only care about drinkability, and for that reason I now swear by Iron Whey. No clumps, no mess, dissolves evenly in milk as well, 5 stars.

I have been drinking protein shakes off and on for over 7 years. I have a high regard for ON and think Body Fortress is ok but the gas it gives is "No Bueno". I have used Dymatize the most and only stopped using it because of an allergic reaction to it after months of daily use. I ordered MP Vanilla only because it was on sale and I thought I would give it a go. This is my first day taking it and I like it. I will say though that I got an urge to throw in a cup of coffee in the bottle because it would make one AWESME latte. It leaves a slight film on my teeth and it is a bit gritty but in all fairness I only shook the bottle about 5 times and began drinking it. It has been 1 hour and I'm still drinking it without any more shaking going on. The texture is similar to a creamer but I wouldn't call it thick. If they offered more flavors I would be inclined to try them.

this was my first whey protein supplient and it really helped me in my goals . muscle retention, taste and strength is just amazing.i'll recomend this product to all...

Tastes delicious while adding bulk to your pects at the same time. Ensure you finish it before its expiry date

Taste is decent,mix ability is bad gains are decent, ON Is better but expensive too.

Sometimes a bit clumpsy while mixing in water, elsewise a good protein for sure. Reviews at bodybuilding.com says all the remaining part. Go for it guys 👍
