How does this differ from the case that comes with the galaxy active tab?

The case that comes with the device fits around the back and sides of the device, more like a shell, it provides some protection. It is a single piece. The material is relatively firm. This case is three pieces, and has a silicone piece that covers the back, sides and part of front. It has a plastic top that locks it all together. This case provides more protection. It also has a handle on the back that also serves as a stand. Also comes with an optional strap.
