Pros:+ Sleek, attractive, lightweight+ The specs on the description are correct.+ Once it's going, it's mostly worked well.+ Battery has had a long life (8-10 hours, depending on if I'm watching media or not).+ Cheap+ Suitable for VERY basic webpage browsing. If you're going to be checking Facebook, YouTube, or using sites that are low-impact, this will be good.+ Suitable for word processing. It comes with some free software, but I was able to download and use my preferred program (Jarte) with no problem.Neutral:+ Obviously refurbished+ Manufacturer of no repute, but has generally positive reviews on Amazon.Cons:- It's slow. It's SO SLOW.- Bottom-tier hardware.- CPU frequently at 100% despite few open programs.- Memory usage is often high, usually hovering at around 60-80%, despite few open programs.- As another review said, you're going to have some MAJOR updates. I did NOT turn off auto updates, and it took me about 12 hours before it was done. Most of the updates I had to do manually - they didn't start again after restarting.- Additionally, after a week or so, I started getting the error: "Microsoft is expiring". Apparently this is a fairly common issue and I fixed it myself, but the error would pop up about every 30 seconds. What happens, is that Microsoft registers its own updates as a whole new system and thinks that it needs re-purchased. A quick Google search provided a fix that worked easily enough.- Touchpad is very finicky. You'll need a mouse.- I was not able to download Discord on this. Too slow.Etc:After spending 12 hours updating and realizing exactly how slow this laptop is, it's taken me a couple of weeks to come to a decision. I went on a week long trip and still needed to work, so I thought it would be a good time to really take it for a test run.I watch YouTube videos for appropriate content. This is relevant because again, this laptop is SLOW, and my work will give me several videos to load on one page at once.It took about 3 times as long as normal to load the videos, but they worked! And that's really all that mattered. It wasn't enough to make me want to throw out the whole system.I primarily got this for word processing. For that much, it's worked flawlessly. I use Google Drive to save process between computers, and that's been a bit of a hassle since Drive is higher impact.I know others said it was good for Minecraft and other low impact games, but I wouldn't try it, personally. It wouldn't even open Discord's website. There were other websites too, that were immensely slow.tl;dr+Good for simple tasks that don't take too much memory+ Not good for a lot of web browsing, and I wouldn't expect to play any games+ I like this laptop because it suits my needs, but I also have a much higher quality gaming desktop that I would prefer to work from. You might be better off buying something with better specs.

Bought 2 for my kids to do homeschooling. Did initial setup and put them away until school starts. Pulled them out to let them practice and get used to using and 1 seems fine but the other doesn't stay connected to wifi and runs slow and the programs crash. We now have less than a week to figure out a solution. Tried resetting and optimizing the drives and nothing helped. Very frustrating for a new device that no one even had a chance to use.

This isn’t touchscreen but I love it no complaints

I bought this computer in August 2020 for home school. The start date for school was pushed back almost a month due to Covid, so I did not use it after making sure it turned on etc. The 30 day return period ran out, right before half the keys stopped working. Their customer service did not even bother to return my email.They computer feels flimsy and cheap.Run away from these people, they are not worth it.

Had this laptop for a few days then all of a sudden the screen went black even with the screen off. I do not recommend you buy this laptop

I have only had this for a few days, but so far so good.

After a slow and glitchy two weeks of use it now won’t even turn on.Now we need a computer for my sons school work TODAY. I’m returning it for a refund.
