Description
- The term Penne refers, in the Italian language, to the goose quill pen used in ancient times for writing and which was cut on the bias to obtain a tip with a thin stroke. The format, obtained from a tube of pasta, smooth or lined, of variable length, has the characteristic diagonal cut typical of the writing pen.
- Produced exclusively by organic farming, the taste of Kamut is unique: sweet with some notes of nuts. Fusilli belong to the family of very short, straight cut pasta and are native to Campania. They have a spiral shape, a diameter of about 10 mm, an average length of 41 mm and a thickness which varies from 1.35 to 1.48 mm.
- Le Penne Rigate sono perfette per la preparazione di paste al forno o per paste asciutte condite con sughi di carne di maiale o manzo. Ma sono ottime anche con i condimenti a base di verdure e più in generale, proprio per la loro versatilità, per tutte le ricette della tradizione mediterranea, come il classico condimento con pomodoro, basilico, olio extra vergine e una spolverata di parmigiano. Classico l'abbinamento col sugo all'arrabbiata.
