Great tasting lentils
I love these lentils. These are not eaily available locally and the price was great. We cooked them in an instant pot for 6 minutesunder pressure and 10 minute release, and then prepared them Indian style. Unlike other lentils, these lentils do not become mushy and retain shape, and have a wonderful earthy flavor.

Delicious... Perfect tiny size... So easy to cook
I love these! They taste excellent, are very tiny, and the price is 50% less than my local whole foods. Cook them in some veggie bullion, and you have a great meal! They store well in the fridge too... One pot makes lunch all week. Great in salads, over rice, or right by themselves.

Adds color to a mix of various lentil recipes
We mix all color varieties of lentils for eye candy look . Take ( One cup total lentils mixed, and two cups cool water) ad a dask of salt and blend until creamy looking . Let stand at least 4 hours in fridge . This is our way. Or, you may wish to store for next day overnite in fridge. lentils are much more nutricious and eye appealing IMHO and tase better as well. Experiment. Add a shake of this and a shake of that from herbs and spices to Tabasco. Remove the amount you plan on using and let it get to room temperature. Then lightly grease a 6 or 8 inch nonstick frying pan pre-heated to medium low. Make certain pan is hot for first scoop. adjust heat accordingly. Next ,Scoop a small ladel and spread evenly in circle. Do NOt poke at it, as this will cause it to stick and lump on spatula. Then let bubbles and steam come out then flip, you will judge how done or crispy . Experiment with making a mess of these at while you are already prepared ,and store then in the fridge for a few days or freeze a seperated stack for months. Everybody loves thes gems. Enjoy.

Beluga lentils are a whole new story
I bought these on recommendation of Dr. Annie Fenn in her new book Brain Health Kitchen. They are a wholenew story in lentils. this is one of the best finds in a long time. nothing like the refried bean taste of regular lentils. and mixed with egg make a great breakfast meal.

Great quality black lentils
I used this for soups and hotdishes. I love black lentils and these were good quality. The large bag lasted quite a while in my pantry.
