I like the toy however the thick coating looks cheap and takes off the idea that there is wood underneath...

Great educational toy
This is such a great educational toy not only for toddlers and small children.It was a gift for my 18months old niece. When the blocks were unpacked my 6 & 8 year old children were playing with it too. This is such a versatile toy.My kids liked it so much that I bought another one for them.
