Junk!!!
Shaft to short, only pump four gallons of a five gallon gas can, switch has already broke , junk!!

2 Gallons in 2 minutes 32 seconds on fresh batteries.
Avoid this junk. It does not move 2.3 gallons / minutes. It averages about 1 gallon in 1 minute 30 seconds!The hose does not stay on to the pump body at all. You have to use the supplied silicone band (only 1 was included in my shipment), which does not hold on very well. The hose disconnected on me several times, but thanks to the anemic suction power, you don't lose much liquid because it does not pump enough liquid.The tube is far too short to reach 1/2 way down a 5 gallon water cooler bottle and the pump is very top heavy so you can't just place it into a bucket, turn it on and walk away while it transfers liquid. You have to hold on to it and wait for it to take it's sweet time.

These pumps suck!
It’s uncommon when you buy something that you want it to suck, but these pumps suck! Yes, these pumps suck, just as the should. Very lightweight and portable. I like that they come in red and blue. It helps me keep track of which pump to use for things like water, and which pump to use on liquids like gasoline.The pumps take large batteries (which were not Included) and they pump at a decent rate. I do wish the hose was a little longer, but they are certainly serviceable.So far they have worked for every job I’ve needed them for. I’ve emptied a fountain, transferred gasoline form a tank to a container, and plan on using it this same way again.

Overview with experience at these
This is not like the one on TV. It’s designed that way however takes 2D batteries not three AA ‘s. The intake hole is a lot smaller than the one on TV and I’m concerned the suction will be a lot less as far as transfer time. Concerned about the tubing will pop off while I’m using it.It does come with a rubber band which slides over the plastic tubing and then the rubber band goes on the outside had to figure that out there are no instructions. will update later after use. I don’t think it will perform like my other one.

Can't beat 2 for 1 price
Satisfied with product, only problem was one had a broken piece that the hose hangs on, made due.Only reason why 4 stars instead of 5 .

Simple but very fast pump.
Pump is exactly as described works fast moving fluids. I bought the pumps for gasoline and diesel. This will save your back and greatly ease your fueling devices. Wife is very happy. She always had a hard time with the 5 gallon gas can. Now she can refuel by herself. My only complaint. The discharge hose is just too short. Easily added new hose to pump and resolved my problem.

A great Pump
These pumps are some handy to have around the shop. I wouldn't want to use them on a continual basis, but for short, quick jobs they are perfect. Will pump all sorts of liquids. Not a pressure pump for sure, but will move fluid from one place to another.

Not worth the cost to return the bad one.
