Womens Running Shorts with Pockets High Waist Sports Workout Shorts

I am a size 10/12 depending on brand. I ordered these in a 12 to make sure I didn’t get a muffin top! The waist fitted perfectly however there is only one thin strip of elastic at the top edge of the waistband so it doesn’t hold your tummy in at all. The material is very loose and stretchy and not compressive at all, I think even a size down wouldn’t have made much difference to that and I could tell my phone wouldn’t be secure in the pocket -unlike some capris with pockets that I already have.The real issue for me though was that they were too loose around the top of the thigh and went all wrinkly under my butt and around the front too which was not attractive! They also tended to ride up making it look even worse. This surprised me as I have chunky thighs and usually struggle with clothing being too tight there.On the plus side... after studying myself at various unflattering angles in the mirror they did seem to be pretty much squat proof, although that may have been helped because they weren’t stretched very tight

These shorts are very comfortable and the pocket is perfect to hold my plus size phone, which means I can capture my steps!There doesnt appear to be a tummy control panel, despite the description. I didnt buy them for that reason so I'm pleased with my purchase. However, if the tummy control is important you might want to avoid these.I bought a size 12, which are a good fit for me. I have big sticky out bottom and regularly have trouble finding any bottoms to accommodate, but these are perfect.

Not as described, so I had to return them.I bought them as it started "tummy control". I like leggings with a large, high waisted band which means a smooth body line and no elastic digging in / creating a roll. They had no control at all, just a thin band (~1inch) of elastic within the top of the waistline.Other than that, they weren't bad quality and the colours were as pictured, just not as described with regard to tummy control.

Really pleased with these running shorts. I'm UK size 14 and 5'7 and the fit is true to size for me. Big pockets hold phone, keys, tissues. Wash well.

So I had purchased a pair before which I loved, so just went back to the same supplier to order another pair. These new ones are awful. Only wore them once but they did not stay in place, and I spent probably 50% of my run pulling them up. Do not buy, as you will be wasting your money, it’s a shame they have changed them, as the previous pair I had were fantastic.

soft and not correct size 12 is like 14 I will keep them as you need to pay to send them back so not worth it to send back

These are brilliant- great fit, flexibility, they don't fall down during my yoga or HIIT workouts. The leg length shown on the model is accurate, perhaps a fraction longer on me and my shorter legs. I will be buying more pairs!

Love these shorts! They fit perfect, are a lovely length, so soft and comfortable. They're perfect to wear for a work out or just to sit around the house in them. This is my second pair I love them that much x
