Good product. Came with clear instructions. Easy to install if you can accurately drill holes in your panel cover. Don't lick the hot legs.

The quality of this interlock kit is top notch. The anodizing is even and looks great in the subpanel. Complacency kills, and this interlock kit will ensure that utility power is turned off before a dedicated generator circuit is turned on.

Metal is thick aluminum. Would not fit my panel without modification. Prior to this I ordered a eaton brand interlock that did not fit due to the main being RECESSED and not flush with the other breakers. This is a 2 piece kit. So I used the locking piece without the standoff piece. I cut a piece off the standoff and screw it onto the underside of the lock to make it reach the main. Luckily the mounting screws and washer are run thru so I didn't have to cut down the screw to the correct length.Expensive for for 2 pieces of metal but cheaper than eatons.

Excellent product, Was as advertised. Product was packaged well, and arrived on time. Came with very clear and easy to follow instructions, as well as all the proper labels and parts for installation. The product was of very high quality material. The interlock kit was easy to install and operated flawlessly upon completion of installation. I highly recommend this kit and would absolutely buy again.

I'm very pleased with this kit. It is high quality, well thought out, and comes with everything you need to install it. The pictures all showed CH panels with bottom main breakers. I don't know why they don't show both in pictures. I almost didn't buy it. My panel has a top main, which is not uncommon, and this kit works for that as well. I had to lower the 40-amp range breaker to accommodate the two-pole 30-amp generator breaker, but that was easy enough to do. The price is a bit more than I expected to pay, but the quality is there and it's made in America.

Overall and excellent product. It took about 40 minutes to install. It comes with a drill bit & thread locker which is very cool. I prefer to install these types of interlock kits as opposed pulling breaker out of you main panel & using a separate generator panel. It saves a lot of hassle, money & you don't have to put plugs in your main panel to cover the holes from the breakers you pulled. When installed properly it's idiot proof. No risk to homeowners or utility crews.

I looked at the OEM Eaton kit and it looked like the same thin metal as the panel cover breaker covers. It'll work, but this is much thicker and has an excellent smoothness to the motion of the interlock. Everything is included, you only need to supply a drill - even the proper metal drill bit is included! And the extras aren't junk - no walking on the bit, included good blue threadlocker compound, printed labels/materials were all very good quality. Don't get me wrong, you are spending quite a few bucks on this, but there was a good amount of thought and care that went in to this product. 5 stars all day long.
