I had a throbbing pain around my ear, not inside. It felt like a sledgehammer hitting over and over. Belladonna gave some relief almost immediately although it took a few days for the pain to completely disappear. I have speculated there might have been an infection in the ear even though the pain was outside and also on my earlobe. Nevertheless, belladonna was indicated for throbbing pain and ear infections, among other symptoms.
