Good value dupe
If you can't justify the cost of more robust country boots and they're only needed for walks round muddy country lanes and across fields, these are a good alternative. Reading other reviews about the boots being tight fitting, I sized up by a half-size and expected they would need wearing in but they were actually comfortable to wear straight out of the box. Took them out for a 5k spin and no blisters or rubbing at all.Lastly, I opted for a wide calf fitting (as mine could eclipse the sun) but they are super roomy so could possibly have got away with regular fit.Best of all, they are fairly easy to clean - a wade through a shallow puddle cleans wet mud from the shoe part, for the rest of the boot just leave mud to dry and then brush off.Not sure how they'd hold up to constant wear in a working environment but for my needs they are great, very happy.

Nice
Lovely boots but rather narrow. I’m giving them a chance & trying to stretch them as I like them for the wet weather!

Sturdy build
Arrived very quickly. They seem to be built very sturdily. I can tell they will take quite a bit of breaking in as the leather around the foot is very, very firm. I have very large calves (43 cm) and there is room to spare. I guess my only gripe is that I wish my calves were smaller so I could buy smaller boots lol. I usually buy a 6.5 but went for a 7 and they fit great around the foot, so I would definitely go up in size when ordering. If you have big calves like me, then these are a good option.

First deliver boots faulty, second delivery boots gorgeous!
The first delivery included boots that were 2 different shades and textures (I think one was sun bleached and the leather is clearly worn and soft). The dark coloured boot was stiff and clearly not been out the box. The boots were comfy it's such a shame about the condition of one of them. They were too wide and I should have returned them without requesting a replacement. I returned the boots and within a matter of days I had received a replacement pair. The replacement pair were gorgeous, really good quality, it's just a shame that they are too wide for my legs. They are true to the measurement on the website. I will order a standard size boot when they are available as the quality is outstanding, incredibly comfortable and look amazing.

Wide calf but narrow foot
Really lovely boots but too tight across the top of my foot. The next size up is longer length so heel slips but still too tight across top of foot. Such a shame as gorgeous boots! The wide calf are very wide but would have been great if they were slightly roomier in the foot.

NIce looking boots.
Unfortunately, I had to return these boots. I loved the look of them and the calves were very generous, but the actual width of the boot foot was too tight for me, I'm a size 8 wide fit.

Good quality but couldn’t get my foot into them
When these arrived I was really pleased with how they looked. The quality and finish looked good (particularly for the price) but when I went to try them on I couldn’t angle my foot into the boot (the leather/material was very stiff) so had to send them back. I don’t have a particularly high arch in my foot so this has never happened before. There was no point in ordering a bigger size because they wouldn’t have fit my actual shoe size. I was disappointed I had to send these back.

Cabitswoud v Dublin - go Cabotswood for vakue
Have been looking for wide fit country boots at a reasonable price for a long time. These fit the bill. Wide fit is v wide - my calf is 41cm and wide fit waggle on me. Standard fit is comfy (they need a middle ground). Early days but feet are dry even on very wet ground. Need thermal socks in cold weather.
