LAGHCAT Sand Blanket

I bought my own blanket so this is not a paid review. I tried this blanket at the beach today. The sand does sift through it easily. However, the sand also comes up through it from the bottom just as easily. If you are lying on a towel, which you must do because the material is too rough to lie on directly, the sand will come up under your towel and stick to the towel. You can pick the blanket up and the sand will fall all the way through it but you'll still deal with a lot of sand coming up through the bottom. It did not come with stakes, which you need. It did not come with a bag, which you need too because the blanket is a bit bulky when you fold it up. I may send it back, still undecided. I don't think this is the military grade blanket they advertise on television.

Great beach towel. The sand falls right through. Very easy clean up and very easy to fold. It also comes with a drawstring bag! Very pleasant surprise.

Very good idea I like the concept of this but thought it was more of a blanket - it's very stiff so you definitely need a soft blanket on top to sit on because you wouldn't want to be seated in top of this directly as it would be scratchy and stuff

Not completely sand proof since there is holes sand does come through but when it does its easier to get off

My wife purchased this blanket and at first I was skeptical. But I must say, we used this for a week a straight while on a vacation and it worked wonders. I was actually amazed how little the sand and dirt (also used as our entrance to our camping tent) went through it. Thanks!

If you can move sand thru those layers guess what the sand shows up when u use it on the beach. Total junk and waste of money.

yeah, so this is basically hard plastic. it is not comfortable to sit or lay on. I guess that is why everyone in the picture is sitting on blankets. used once and tossed. waste of $$.
