Worked out the box, with a little bit of extra help.
After reading reviews online about bad seals, leaking into the cab, I bought a new gasket for light. It did come with one on the light itself, but it wasn't aligned exactly to match, but I do believe it would work, AS LONG AS you make sure it is sealed all the way around.A quick fix for me was to get some clear silicone, I applied it to the base of the truck, where the gasket would set. Then, I applied a thin bead of sealant around the edges of the light itself. Then, I applied some silicone around the inner/outer edges of the light to the truck, to help ensure it does not leak, but that was just a precaution on my end.So far, the light works, I like the lens quality, the brightness isn't too bright for me, it's just what I paid for.It just took a little bit of extra planning and prep to make sure I have a good seal and a good looking third brake light. If I have issues with the light itself, I'll update and let you know, but so far so good.I really like the light a lot.

Seal
Only issue is the seal around the unit already leaking around top . Looks cool & bright w a nice OEM fit but you might as well tint your stock & install LEDs just as long as you seal up now i have to dry out from car wash & reseal .

Wired correctly, but fitment and seal not ideal
After returning one of the 3D tube type from another seller due to a design error (they designed it with common ground, a fatal flaw that causes the cargo lights to stay on all the time), I bought this one.In part, I chose this one because the wiring in the pictures depicted the ability to rewire if it was wired incorrectly. This is in contrast to the other type I ordered before, which had a circuit board that could not be modified without cutting traces, drilling holes, and some other dodgy stuff. this particular light avoids all of that by having all the wiring accessible on the back.I ordered this knowing that some of the other reviews cited a poor seal. After receiving it and looking it over, I have two echo that same complaint. There is a noticeable gap between the edges of the clear plastic lens, and the black plastic internal housing. That's not to say this isn't sealed internally, on the contrary it does have the typical black rubber sealant mating the lens to the housing. Unfortunately, where the seal is located, is not the very edge of the plastic lens that is clear. This means that even if the seal inside was perfect, you would still observe some moisture around the edges of the clear plastic lens.In that same vein, I share the concern of the quality of that internal sealed, as well as the weather stripping foam on the back. Foam weather stripping is not sick enough to make good contact. Water will seep in to the cab of the vehicle undoubtedly.Fix: heavy amounts of silicon.I ran a bead of silicone between the clear housing in the black housing to fill that Gap. I then let that dry, and ran another bead between the edge of the clear lens and black housing. From there, then also use silicone on the mating surface of the weather seal foam, and all around the edges of the foam. You can't see the silicone from outside the vehicle, unless you get all the way up and inspect closely. It works, and appears to be the only way to get a non leaking black housing LED third brake light. Bummer but hey if that's what you have to do, it is what it is.All in all, happy with the end result, but not happy with the amount of work that need to be done to not ruin your vehicle the first time it rains to the unbeknownst consumer.

You get your money's worth.
Looks good and the lights are bright for sure the bed light is a for sure positive with how bright it is. Had the 3rd light about a year now and the only thing I've seen is the housing has started to let a little bit of water in but again that's about a year of being used and washed on every weekend.

Really bright cargo lights
Not a bad product just recommend a little silicone under the gasket to ensure a good seal. The cargo lights are extremely bright. Best part about it.

Good product
It's a good light looks good could be a tad bit brighter but I like it. Lights the bed up good. And the break lights are decently brights. It's Worth it

Be careful when buying but looks good
Amazing looking light and really pieces a truck together have it on my 2004 Chevy Silverado. Two very big problems with it are it did not fit correctly it was a little off on fitment so I did a little fabrication work to it, and water was inside of it in under 2 weeks but after more modification I haven’t had that issue.

Looks good. Good quality.
Looks good! Wanted it a little more clear. It has a light smoke tent. Not unhappy at all. Just not super clear.

Jeff bezos sponsored my truck
Mixed review but hella honest. Ordered this light with two day prime delivery. 5 days later, no light and no updated tracking, I got a refundNext day however, I received my refund as well as the package was picked up by shipper and delivered same day… wtfSo now I went sweet. I got my light and it was free…. Went to install it and it had the wrong plug end on it, it fit in the hole and the screws lined up but it couldn’t be plugged inLuckily the stock light had the correct plug, I was able to solder these wires onto and now all works as it shouldOverall I would say 3 stars. It was late and had the wrong plug on it, however can’t complain for the price. And it looks greatHad it on about a week now with no signs of leaks. Will update if that becomes a issue

Don't waste your money thought I'd get lucky too.
Very disappointed, I thought I would get lucky with the 50/50 reviews. Just tint your stock one. Lasted about a month, Not a good fit so I siliconed the crap out of it but didn't put silicone on the bolt holes and got alot of moisture in it. Which if you do buy id recommend doing that from the start. Tore it all apart cleaned the moisture out and painted a few parts and reselaed everything including the bolt holes. Next day the Housing had pressure cracks and was full of moisture. Must have been something I did wrong resealing. I would recommend you just tint your stock one if it seals alright thats what I'll be doing. Now I'm $80 out with silicone and I have to try and cut this one out. First pic is the day I installed it, looked amazing and I had to install a resistor on the right rear brake light wire to maintain cruise control.
