Mikasa National Junior Basketball official game ball rubber cover

As a basketball coach, I'm trying to teach good form.One of the aspects of good shooting form is follow through.While this isn't the best ball on the market, it is the one ball that makes it VERY clear if you have the proper follow through, write snap etc... Just look at the spin on the ball due to its two tone makeup. The ball shuold have back spin as opposed to side spin or no spin.

Had one of these from when my kid did NJB winter league for first graders. Perfect size for younger kids and bounce better than most other balls I’ve seen (guessing the rubber is what makes the difference). One note of caution though - the white ball picks up blacktop stains easily and transfer to hands. Doesn’t bother me, but kids often end up with black streaks on their face from playing with ball on blacktop and then wiping sweat away.

3 year old & 5 year old grandsons love it.Size is just right. Not too small or too big.They want to learn how to dribble a ball.This ball fits the bill.

The basketball itself seems to be good quality. We've had other Mikasa products and have been very happy with them. It didn't really matter to us, but we didn't look closely enough at the picture. The pink ball is pink, blue and GREEN. We didn't notice the green in the picture originally.

Worth it! I bought these for my winter and summer leagues for 1st graders. Price is fair. Quality good. No issues. Free delivery. Kids under 8 needs the smaller basketballs to learn and enjoy. Do not use the bigger basketballs.

great ball for kids. mine is 7 and she loved this ball for a whole week. then it was stolen at her basketball game by another kid. WARNING - IF YOU PLAY IN LEAGUE PLAY AND THIS IS THE BALL THEY ALL HAVE, MAKE SURE TO WRITE YOUR NAME ON THE BALL!! if not, it's up for grabs :(

Ball looks good but in the image it says 27.5 but delivered 28.5. I have my daughter’s games scheduled can’t return it 😔

My daughter (7 y.o.) loves this ball. It's just the right size, and she loves the colours. My only complaint (and it's not exactly a minor one) is that the ball needs very frequent pumping. It holds enough air for a few hours, and then it's too flat for proper use. If it did a better job of holding air, I'd give it a 5 star review for sure.

Ordered 2 for the kids. They seem great so far. Great price and received them in just a week or so.
